I always thought that Sniffer Dog was treated very unfairly on Vital by many (you know who you are Plummer and Apollyon to name just two). Time and time again he would post stuff and get shot down for it only to be proved right later. Fair play to him though he never got deterred. I remember he even revealed his contact (a Greek Football Journo) and said that his contact was Greek and he would be appearing on Radio Nottingham the following week to do an interview. He got absolutely hammered for it but guess what? The following week the journo appeared on Radio Nottingham and did the interview!
He was genuine was Sniffer and I am so grateful that he has set up this forum. They didn't deserve him over at Vital.

I even saw Sniffer compared to Jom. That was ridiculous. Jom was a liar and fantasist whereas Sniffer genuinely tried to pass on good info in good faith.

Going back to the Greek journalist on the radio Fray or Chippers I don't remember which actually asked the journo how he became a Forest fan and the journo told the story of his English friend from Nottingham who lives in Greece (Sniffer Dog). I seem to recall Sniffer later saying that the Jouralists father was the best man at his wedding.

It’s all fun and games. I used to post gossip I got from an ex employee of NFFC and also through a journalist friend
. You share it and then get dogs abuse. I’ve learned to steer away from that more these days. During Billy’s time I was friendly with one of his staff and shared a pint or two at my local with him. Even he didn’t know what set him off so much second time round. He was so frustrated with it all.

Jom used to get on my nerves. It was the way he made out that he was in the know, coming up with BS rumours and smug cryptic comments all passed off as fact when he clearly knew diddly squat. Look East was a classic example, he then made out that was proof he knew about Kuwait consortium before it happened.

he actually used to get highly defensive and aggressive if you questioned the BS

it was rockstar stuff for a while. each day there another explosive story. 95% was madeup.

i remember once a school teacher created a login on vital. made up a completely false story during the transfer window which everybody sucked, and then a few hours later admitted it was a complete lie and it was to show his class the dangers of the internet.

I do yes. He got married and started a family so not as much as before.

The owd banjo twanga? He showed up on here a few months back but he didn' t last more than a couple of days.

Didn't he reappear a couple of weeks ago in one of the matchday threads? Might have been Reading.

Yes he did. Can't remember his name but it was definitely him. He's still active on Twitter too, though he's blocked me on all the accounts I know of because I call him out all the time.

He showed up under the username Buddy. He lasted about 15 minutes then Sniffer booted him off.
