Think people r going a bit mental because this was a game that a. Could have maintained the momentum going into the leeds game, and b. Bring back memories of the last few times where we were in the play offs near auto but then struggled rather than kicking on. With that memory, people look for parallels, even though we are in a different time, different manager, different team... only natural really!
On to Saturday now... Uuuuuuuuu reds!
Also we always get nowt from Birmingham!

Sadly? Getting into the play offs this season would be a trememndous achievement.
I would be delighted. I think some need a reality check. Sniff...7th is only 4 points away ....we r closer to 7th then to autos...as we stand...could have been the opposite today ...more big games in the coming weeks that will tell us where are we really going... Nice positive mindset as usual MR......not. Zico it's not a question of positivity or not, more of reality and instead of looking just to were it suits us, is of looking all around ... this year is not like the Billy MK 1 season were the gap between us and 7th was massive so we could afford to lose points but still maintain firmly our play off place, this year every point lost will bug you in the arse the following months...points lost v Reading nd Birmingham would have compensated for any points lost against our direct rivals ... as always we r doing the hardest bit, getting points against the direct rivals but mess if up against the others ...surely not the way to win promotion...

It's about keeping our nerve, plenty more twists and turns to come no doubt. Going off on one because we lost (for the 1st time in 8) shows negativity whether you want to see it or not.
Yep we should have gone onto stuff them the way the game was going, but that's football, the unexpected can happen. I'm not going to vilify our 16 goal top scorer for missing a pen, but everybody who was there or watched on their computer/phone/listened on the radio knows we would almost certainly have won the game if it goes in. It happens, we move on. Leeds and West Brom to come so back on it hopefully.

I doubt anyone will be more annoyed than Grabban. He will know the should have added to his tally yesterday. But on balance , his contribution here since signing allows him the odd stinker and still leaves plenty in the bank. Crap finishing yesterday, no doubt, but definitely not going to vilify him.......unlike some guy on LTLF who actually says he should be dropped and it seemed like he meant it!

Agreed, I do think he doesn't need his ego massaged with the role of penalty taker though. Particularly now we have viable alternatives

Grabban is, by FAR , our best goal scorer, we should think where we would have been without his goals this season, possibly in a relegation battle. Week after week he works his socks off. Ok , he’s missed a penalty, disappointing I know, but even Messi misses! but there are still 48 points to play for and I’m betting he will get us a bag full more.

can you imagine if someone else had take it and missed, we would all be asking why Grabbs didn’t take it.

Apparently his goals are directly responsible for 17 of our points so to answer that question. We would be 19th on 34 pts! That doesn't take into account his excellent hold up play.
