Cheers, Jock.  I've only now managed to calm down from that 'last second' result.

The one thing I like about Jock's ratings is that Forest's recruitment can see where we need to strengthen.  (Silva 4, Rib' 5, Ame' 5...that's simply NOT good enough from your attacking midfield.)

Watson for 'that' goal.  Good lad.

The truth is we lack creativity, yesterday we were all over Reading first half but only had 1 clear cut chance. We had loads of really good situations where the final ball was not quite good enough or Reading fouled as a good move or break was developing. Silva is a really useful player, but gives the ball away too much and doesn't have a killer ball in him unless a set piece.

The reality is that the first half showed how much a fit confident number 10 would thrive. The second half we actually had much less of the ball yet had more clear cut chances-but so did they.

We are back to picking up points though which is important. Hope we can beat Luton now to keep us cemented in top 6 and pressure on those above who seem to be stuttering.

3 key performances in there.  Nice to have our LB back.  Watson like the battle general we always wanted and needed.  And Lolley has exploded back to life.

We can't under estimate the experience of Dawson and Watson when Forest were under the kosh at 1-0 down to Luton.  And the robust Sow.

Quality and experience along the spine in Samba, Dawson, Watson, Sow and Grabban.  That has to be as good a spine of a side as any in the division?

i think that is harsh on Silva, i'd give him 9, if he'd remembered to set his alarm clock maybe 10

he put some excellent corners in, great skill in the box, very close to scoring on several occassions, assist for the penalty, almost won another penalty, supportive runs from deep, got to say he is an unsung hero and uh's always score high

PS.  You make a good case for the 'improving' Silva being an unsung hero.  Perhaps he's 'very nearly' the ACM Forest need.  He's certainly grown into the Forest side.  Perhaps there is even more in his locker?  He's pretty decent at set pieces.  Your examples of his work, well noted.  

Silva gave the pass to Rib' who put in the might fine ball for Lolley's goal.  It's like a jigsaw.  It's all related like some cosmic puzzle.

In 1st half when Luton were pressing hard he was one of the few that took ball under control and used in. I thought he played well today.
