Hmmm.  Following Yates development curve up the leagues, eh?

49 goals.

Can anyone think of any Forest player that's done that in the last ten years?

Or 20 years?

SA.

Well, SA...

Like I say...there was Earnie and Brit' that did ok over a couple of seasons.  And they are in the team of the decade or contenders for.  The only other one I can think of...is Grabban.

They were a lot older mind.  Not home grown.  And cost a fair whack.

I beleive Bridcutt is back. Also Lamouchi stated that Walker might be recalled.

One is experienced cover for DCM (thought Yates more than stood up to the Chelsea midfield yesterday and did Semedo's job for him.)

Walker.  Very prudent.  We're really rolling the dice on Grabban staying fit.  Bringing in a couple of strikers in January, an off the shoulder striker along with a big lad who can rough up CHs and play target man as well as recalling Walker (a proven young lower league striker now is as ready as he ever will be to prove himself...) would allow far more options to out fire the opposition in what is going to be a busy February. Bringing in two from outside and recalling Walker would take our strikers to 4 with Mir going out.

I would like to see Walker back plus another new striker.

Really impressed with Mighten yesterday and I think he can make an impact.

Welcome Stefan.

I suppose Walker coming back will depend on whether we manage to land a couple of strikers or not. If we only land one or God forbid none at all then I can see him coming back. However if we land two Strikers then we might as well leave him where he is now.

I would bring him back now just incase of any injuries,
We can still loan him out again later if we get any strikers in.

Agreed, as I said elsewhere, why are we keeping him if we dont use him when we are in need

Last year, Forest were in critical condition regarding the CH position. Crisis point. MoN wanted Worrall back and couldn't get him. In the end, Forest addressed this via the transfer market with Beno', Milo (who, I rated very highly as our best and classiest all round CH for some time...) and both put in some sound work burying the systematic weaknesses from crosses and aerial balls. And the also augmented with yet another CH on top of that.

Worrall continued his education as part of the Old Firm in Scotland which probably turned out best for him.

So, maybe it depends on how ambitious Forest are in the transfer market? IF they bring in two then Walker can perhaps stay where he is?

Personally, I'd bring him back. He's banged in the best part of 50 goals in the last couple of seasons, I can't remember the last Forest striker to do that. He's proving his point.

If we brought in Gayle. Knowing Forest's luck, he and Grabban would both pull up with hamstrings. Would be nice to have Walker on the bench or give Forest options as part of a 4-3-3.
