Huddersfield - Nottingham Forest

In the last 10 minutes the game was crying for us going 3 5 2, grabban was so isolated up there. When silva had thd ball in midfield there was no ond to run in space nd we kept repeating the same move, pass to Lolley nd apart from a couple of decent shots at the end we created nothing.
Best chance came to our defenders, worrying that Grabbs went AWOL, Silva not even a shot on goal, Carvalho ( no comment) .
Second goal was criminal, it seems we learnt nothing from last week as both their goals came from lose marking nd slow movement of the defenders.
At least Bryce kept us in the game with a good safe, if that shot went it was going to be embarrassing again.
We need players pronto as this lot has lost their fighting spirit, too many mistakes all over the park.

Done on set pieces.

I thought the players put in a semi decent performance considering they must be lacking confidence. Sow faded and that coincided with our slump at the start of the 2nd. As he gets fit that will improve.

Agree with Malta, we defo need a striker to chuck on. Would've been ideal for a big type like Murphy to go on and create some havoc. They were hanging on in the end.

I'm pissed off with the defeat but I could see lots of signs of improvement. Semedo looked interested and tidy, Carvalho didnt do much wrong. Sow was massive and justs adds an altogether new dimension to our game. Not sure about Chema at right back but lets cut him some slack on his first game there.

I'm just praying Marinakis' finger isnt twitching.

Opportunity missed, looking at today's results...

Cant wait to get to the 55 point mark...we r not a promotion team, I am starting to feel like we r regressing instead of improving..

It's outrageous.  Should be retroactive punishment and points docked for teams that play like that.

Needs stamping out the game.

SA.

Just been saying the same here. Every single game this happens now.
The FA need to act. It's killing the game. I cant see why the refs allow it to happen.

Forest haven't got the players or the 'set up' to deal with it.  But you have to deal with it or you get nothing from the game against cheating spoilers.  Really irritates the hell out of me.

And the FA do nothing.  And the ref' lets them get away from it.

'Cheat, cheat...'  chanted the Forest fans.

They weren't wrong.

Why aren't there football moderates from the stands watching monitors...(doesn't just have to be VAR) to make sure spoiling tactics (cheating.  Let's call it what it is...) don't win out.

That said.  Forest didn't deal with the set pieces.  Worrall done for a free header.

Classic Forest in recent years.  Forest the footballing team 'done' by the set piece.

Are we going forwards?  Or backwards..?

Except when MoN 'left' us...he'd won 3 on the bounce...and his team wasn't so easily brushed aside.

Agricultural 'transitional' football or not. In this league you win the right 1st .

Forest have won 1 in 7 now..?

Come on lads, lets not compare MoN's football to Sabri's.

Its like night and day.

Yes that is complete nonsense. We won three on the bounce against 2 relegated teams and another that was on the beach. We were awful under O Neill and the physicality didnt improve any results either.

Whatever the problems we are having right now we desperately need to stick with Sabri.

Pap I dont want to compare Sabris football with anyone, but what we r seeing at the moment is confusing football. At the start we looked solid defensively nd thought it was a good foundation to build on, what happened instead is that the defence is gifting goals nd the rest of the team is still playing how we started the season ... we dont create enough nd we dont finish off what we create  ... no excuse that the team needs time to gel, we played almost all the games with thd same 16 players, so it's not as if we r changing formation week in week out...

Forest were in transition under MoN. But he still won his last 3 games against relegation sides. And now?

Forest have lost 3 against relegation threatened teams who Forest made look better. That isn't progress. Forest sit 9th. Tied with MoN's exit.

Warburton's football was also toothless and pretty.

Stick with The Coach. Sure. Nobody is suggesting sacking 'The Coach.'

However...I'm not the owner of Forest. I wouldn't have sacked Davies, Pearce, Warburton, Aitor (who was higher than 9th..?) or MoN.

I'm sure Marinakis will seeking a progress report with The Coach real soon...
