Having players with the 'will to win' and the leadership and footballing heft to back that up. Rare in Forest terms. How many players have Forest had like Yates in the last 20 years..? Not many. And that's been part of Forest's problem. He's a physical presence Forest miss. He'll pass and help drive the team forwards. He sometimes lives on the edge. But he's young and better decision making (see Worrall) will come with time in the 1st team as he's introduced. Some may say he lacks footballing skill. But he outscored Cash in the YouTube 'just for fun' video shooting on goal. 'He wants it.' Fed up of Forest journey men players who come to the City Ground for a pay check and can't even smile when they arrive at Forest like it's some kind of hardship that they had to sign for Forest. How refreshing to have players like Worrall, Cash or Yates smile or are excited to playing for 'my club.' (And Worrall had the b*lls to say that when playing for Rangers. Good lad, Worrall.) Yates, like Worrall and Cash (who has that belief that Forest are going somewhere i.e. 'upwards'), are part of Forest's future. Even young Smith is back on the subs bench. It's good to see the Academy being recognised for their excellent work. SA.

Well done Ryan, pleased about this.
I know TPL and one or two others have doubts but we need to keep a core of local lads in the squad, helps to instil the ethos of the club in others. Otherwise we become another Arsenal, a team who only remember who they are playing for when they look at their payslip.

Agree with that SA.
Retain my opinion on ‘Giggsy’ - really hope he stuffs my words back down my throat though.
