QPR continued....

They've got some big lads in their side

This keeper is a ****ing clown. Got to get a few shots on target.

3 times we have had good chances and 3 times the ball has been poor. I hope MW doesn't say the game changed when we got a man sent off because we have been really poor. We waste too many good opportunities. Manning has had a shocker.

Corner again woefully defended.

Ball is breaking kindly for them

Good free kick from Wells saved. Headed off our line by Scowen I think. Another rubbish cross from Manning.

0-2 Wells fault that goal

Game over. Think Kane was running through treacle.

phrase rhymns with clucking bell

Getting bored of this now, sadly

This is a total joke

First time we've lost 3 home games in a row against Forest

Worst defensive run since the mid 1950s

Something is very wrong - think back to our first 30 mins against Luton and we've largely gone backwards since

We will get destroyed at Derby on Saturday

Warburton is not taking us forwards

They've had 37% possession

0-3 It was game over after the first 10 minutes.

We're in big ****in trouble

Another defensive nightmare. This defence is bereft of confidence and has zero faith in the keeper. They are making shocking decisions at the back.

Strolled through our defence and pocked it home...that was so easy! Grrrr

4-0 Lumley!

Ten league matches we have let in at least 2 goals in each match (24 in total) that's gotta stop before we fall any further down the league. Seven games ago we could have gone top, now 16th, although still 6 points away from 6th, and 10 points away from 22nd.

Another mistake by Lumley and 0-4.

And on sky again that curse strikes once more.

The biggest problem is we're skint, and Warburton has no money desperately needed to strengthen

They brought on a £13 Million sub!

0-4 at home..... Abysmal

Why are we skint? I thought it was a FFP thing that stopped us getting players. Our owners are rich enough to put in a few quid?

We would be better off with the EDS keeper between the sticks

Warbles Out!

He’s doing a McClaren.

Our goal difference would put is in the bottom 4. That's where we're heading. Apalling tonight!

No we're skint because they can't put money in even if they want to.....this is still the after effects of the free spending days...

Can't see Lumley playing again...that was dreadful for the 4th.....although surely both strikers were offside when shot came in..

Somehow we have to get an ugly result....

We have to get rid of Warburton - this is a complete joke now

We are the easy touch of the Championship now - crap opposition strikers....guaranteed to score....need to improve your goal difference....happy to help, how many would you like?

Gutted. I have just had texts from my boss who is a Forest fan. I don't how to reply.

Thanks Rangers you have let me down yet again.

If he's your boss, I'd congratulate him!

And how exactly is that going to help? Typical knee jerk reaction....Next someone will be saying get Warnock back....
My prediction is out the FA cup 3rd round and 19th in the league this season.

Rushed back from a biz trip in Zurich. Left a v convivial lunch to waste this ****e.
Left after 55 mins which I’ve never done considering how much I pay for my ticket....
Absolutely shocking before and after red card.....

Was at fulham to see first 20 mins of fantastic football when Amos and Eze ran the game. Tonight Amos spent most of the running away from the ball.....
The GK & defence - there are no words

So you have confidence in Warburton??

That is the definition of madness

I'm working up in Scotland at the moment so fortunately missed this one, but the general view up here is that Warburton was pretty poor at Rangers

We need confidence back in the team. We expect to lose at the moment. We expect to concede at least 2 goals

Unacceptable

On the bus.
Poor.
MW. Predictable and poor.
Lumley poor and poorer.
Defence poor.
Wallace. Seasoned pro should know not to do that.
Attack poor.
Hugill gets some respect.
Wells and Chair a bit too.
20 mins of reasonable play after the red where I thought we might score. Very nearly did and that would have been massive.
Overall. Poor.
Sorry but very little to be positive about at present.

Get Warnock back

I would rather have Wenger.

Agree need to remember the constraints been working under & our total summer outlay of 50k. Until the recent run we've really been punching above our weight.

Need to hope something can be done in Jan to strengthen the defence/keeper.

A typical year supporting QPR

I’d not have Colin back now, but I wouldn’t mind betting he’d get better results out of the same squad right now. One thing Warnock knows is how to tighten up at the back (oo-er missus) and I reckon he’d get some clean sheets at least.

Half the problem is that the stigma of never keeping a clean sheet is starting to affect the team. They’re stepping out into the turf expecting to concede, expecting a gaffe or seven, then thinking “here we go again” when they do. Confidence is at rock bottom as a consequence.

Warbles has to get it sorted. It’s very much his ****ing team.

I wish we’d kept Matt Smith and just hoofed the ball up to the hulking t**t for a bit.

He should have started with Hugill....can't see that bringing chair in added anything....

Well that was totally unacceptable, Forest wasn’t that great but we made them look good! Abysmal passing through the match, lack movement & crossing even worse, don’t what say where we go next with this team & management, need sorting & quick, I left when it was 3 & heard 4th go in, don’t normally leave early but seen enough.

Some very negative comments even at 1-0 down looked the better team, played majority of 2nd half with 10 men but still looked like we could grab an equaliser. 3 goals in last 9 minutes makes it look like a nightmare. Everyone knows Lumley isn't good enough, suggest getting Dieng back from Donny defence is awfully slow and that why we keep conceding from lobbed up balls. Only solution is playing Masterton instead of Leinster but as MW doesn't seem to want to he needs to take the wrath for conceding 2+ goals a game. Surely away to Derby BOS needs a start. I still fancy us at Derby!

Wasn’t a lot be positive about yorkie apart from brief spell in 2nd half in which we had them going & unlucky header Scowen.

Boy. They aren't happy, are they? :o (Didn't that used to be 'us?')

"Chair into the upper stand again."

Bad losers, eh?

Mee too. His football is dull as dishwater. Watching them brought it all back.

There comments very fair. Not blaming the soft red.

Cardiff City Supporters comments Pre Match

Forest just stuck four past 10-man QPR at Loftus Road. Looks like they are running into form, but I wouldn't write us off and fancy at least a draw

2-1 victory they're 4 nill win tonight is good as we will bring them back down to earth with a hard fought victory

Forest just beat QPR who have been decent themselves this season 4-0 away from home. So it looks like Forest are coming into form. That being said a lot of positive signs from us since Neil Harris became manager but we still haven't won away from home all season. If this was 10 games down the line once Neil Harris has got all the players up to speed then I would say I think we will win and whilst my heart says we'll win, I just think 3 games in a week, the team are still adapting to what Harris wants. Its's a away game and forest are a good side, so I think it will end up being a hard fought draw but hopefully lots of more encouraging signs to be shown.

Score- 1-1
My predicted starting line up- just the 1 change

Etheridge,
Peltier, Nelson, Flint, Bennett
Mendez, Pack, Bacuna, Murphy
Tomlin and Madine

I have my doubts and reservations about Flint and Pack still and I'm not convinced that they have long term futures with us, but we did keep our first clean sheet in a while so Flint should keep his place in the team for this game and with Ralls out and Vaulks not quite ready to start yet then Pack gets the nod in midfield. Pack did look decent to be fair in the first half against stoke and made some decent passes but he was a bystander in the second half so we still need a little bit more from him. I was really impressed with both Tomlin and Madine against Stoke so they need to start again and Hoilett had little impact on the game again against stoke so I expect to see Josh Murphy come in and be given his chance to lay down his mark In the team

Prediction, Danny Danny Ward off the bench 1.0

Hoilett over Murphy in an away game. He may not be at this best at the moment, but I think Harris will persist with him

I understand where you are coming from and I said we should give Hoilett another chance against stoke despite not having a great game by my understanding against Charlton, from what I saw he was non-existent against stoke and I didn't even notice him on the pitch. Josh Murphy hasn't played any minutes for Neil Harris yet, So I think if Neil Harris is all about giving players a opportunity then he should give Murphy his opportunity on Saturday. It's then up to Murphy to take his chance or not. As I have said on a previous thread I think Murphy along with Joe Ralls the 2 best players we have ability wise in the squad, whilst Ralls is consistent, Josh Murphy doesn't show his ability enough. He needs to mature up and become more consistent otherwise I think we'll try and sell him next summer get some money and go for someone else.

Trees away next in our search for that elusive away win. Whisper it quietly, but a win here (despite our dreadful football) and other results going our way, would put us right back up there

After Tuesday, apart from great defending second half, I can't see much encouragement against an in form Forest.

With regret, 2.0 to Forest

An optimistic 1 all draw. Tomlin to notch for us...Whittingham for them!!!!

Forest 1 Cardiff 1 with madine to get his first ever city goal , the first of many

Forest 3-1 Bluebirds please. Hoilett with our consolation.

Masky’s Old Pal Chris Gunter, (rhymes with cuunter) has been on, wishes me compliments of the season....checking if the tangerines have been reduced in Lidl’s. I had to break the bad news that they hadn’t because at this time of year it’s a sellers market...he was gutted! Now as regards the game this weekend....he says they’re all talking about Gary Madine....aka goal machine. It didn’t go unnoticed that he had an assist and a fabulous effort miraculously saved on Tuesday....and was given a standing ovation when pulled off! Even critics like Old Sparkey and BFB, he read couldn’t hold back with their praise. Calling him lard is now a thing of the past, and there is no doubt a goal or two is just around the corner....as sure as I’ve got a 9” todger with s hook on it! Bluebirds up against an inform Forest with Ameobi on fire....hmmmm, 1-0 City!

Still games 24 goals none.

Agreed he played better but still uninspiring.

Will he start against Tricky Trees or will Glatzel or Ward play leapfrog over him? I think he will start as he hasn't let Harris down yet. Ward on bench.

Yes, Ameobi looks to be playing well, set up 2 goals last night. Probably thinks he has something to prove against us.

Masky do you use your aforementioned bent todge for checking around corners? I spy with my Jap's eye!!!

Peltier to smash Ameobi off the park

I know we're away but Tomlin has got to start. He can win the game for us rather than just trying to keep the point we start with.

Hope Harris has learned the lesson from the second half of that Charlton game - you just can't contain these sorts of sides if you surrender the midfield.

We haven’t got Gunnar so no point even turning up on Saturday

A Few more from this morning.....

Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has said Brice Samba is available for selection against Cardiff despite the goalkeeper appearing to struggle with a shoulder injury against QPR in midweek.

Ryan Yates remains suspended and Forest are also likely to be without the recovering Yuri Ribeiro and Samba Sow,

Cardiff will check on the fitness of Callum Paterson after a knock saw him start on the bench against Stoke.

Robert Glatzel is also nearing a return after four games out. Peter Whittingham could return for the Bluebirds against his former club Forest, with whom he endured a brief spell.

Match facts
Nottingham Forest have won only once in their past 12 league games against Cardiff City (W1 D1 L10), failing to win any of the last nine (D1 L8).Cardiff City have won each of their last four away league games versus Nottingham Forest - they have never won five consecutive away games against an opponent in the EFL.Nottingham Forest have kept three consecutive clean sheets (W2 D1), last going longer without conceding in the Championship in February 2016 (a run of four).Cardiff have failed to win any of their opening nine away league games in back-to-back seasons. However, their first away victory last season came in their 10th such game, beating Leicester City 1-0 at the King Power.Since the start of last season, only four players have scored more Championship goals than Nottingham Forrest's Lewis Grabban (24).Cardiff's Robert Glatzel has committed 23 fouls in the Championship this season without receiving a single booking - only Middlesbrough's Britt Assombalonga (33) has conceded more fouls in the competition in 2019-20 without receiving a card.

Like the fact about waiting 10 games for our first away win last season but cannot seeing it happening today.
