No problem with Yates. Prem ref=sending off. EfL ref booking. The challenge on robbo was dirtier in the balls on purpose! Yates was sold short and went in with two feet - it wasn’t high but late and caught the players foot who made the most of it. He has to learn though. Having Yates, samedo and sow unavailable is not great but still have Bostock and carvalho available. I’d actually like to see Bostock given another chance and play both carvalho and silva- with them interchanging between 10 and 11 positions. Ameobi rested for Cardiff brutes on Saturday.

I must say that it looked nasty from where I was sitting (in my armchair).
No problem though, if you don't make mistakes you'll never learn anything. Hope he comes back a better player.

A 60/40 he wasn't going to win. Yates needs to keep on his feet. It was rash. It didn't look good on tv. Those 'out of control' two footer tackles are going the way of the dinosaur. He'll learn from it. Yates will be back. Here's your chance, Bostock. SA.

Yates has a 'will to win' (and that's all that tackle was, an error of judgement) and he'll be back as a better player for it. That's a trademark of most of the Academy lads. SA.

Well done Yatesy. He deserves a new contract.

Been agreed a good while now, think he will be a good squad player going forwards.
Not many young English players like him around right now.

Spot on Frochy.
Yates has been key in providing backup for Sow this season. |
