I honestly think he is doing just fine. He is being asked to play in a slightly different way under Lamouchi, don't think there is anything more to it.

I think Lolley is playing just as well as last season.
Always a threat, always causing problems for defenders down the right hand side.
This season he is getting great support from Cash overlapping.
Not sure what the issue is for some.
Last season, a third of the way in, he scored 4 with 3 assists.
This season he's scored 3 with 2 assists.
That's hardly a catastrophic dip in form.
Plus the team is deservedly in the play-off places.

That's the summation of it.

He's just as well and playing his part in that top 6.  He's part of a more cohesive Forest philosophy.  Even if he doesn't score goals, the opposition can't leave him alone because he'll 'do' them as soon as they do.  If they're doubling up on Lolley that means others, like Ameobi can be a threat.

That's where Forest want to be.  Lots for the opposition to think about.

Lolley is doing fine but he could do a lot more imo. He is trying hard but his passing isn't as crisp and accurate as it could be. His shooting is also a bit off. He will however, hit top form at some point during the season and then we will again see how good he really can be.

My thoughts exactly, I’m sure he will soon be back to top class, class always tells in the end and he is class.

Im over the moon we have better players around him this season, he doesn’t have to carry the team so much.

Perhaps I didn’t phrase my initial post very well, I never ever use any Forest player as a ‘scapegoat’ I’m a little perturbed I’ve been perceived that way tbh.

if i had one constructive point IMO - i really think his cutting inside and taking a shot has been found out. teams know he is going to do it.

To be fair he went on the outside twice on Saturday, the first he over hit and it went for a throw in on the other side and the second he cut it across and was about 20 yards from the nearest player, crossing with his right isn’t really his strongest attribute so it’s not surprising he cuts inside.

Agree ... him and Carvalho have another month plus to make a starting spot in the team theirs...if their form continue to oscillate,  then we need two or three more consistent players if we really are going for promotion. At least Lolley is doing his bit covering the ever improving Cash  Carvalho? ... Silva is Mile's ahead of him in regard contribution to the team, the odd trick is not enough to secure a place not even in the 18 ...

Both player and manager have said Joe is not firing as far as I'm concerned I agree what is pleasing is a "out of form Lolley" is still a very good player and warrants his selection every week

His work ethic and attitude is absolutely outstanding thats why he will continue to improve when the stars align at some point this season he will be at times unplayable as per last season I'd rather be that the last 10 games than the next 10 but I don't think we will wait long he looks better by the week IMO

Yeah Lolley defensively had a great game on Saturday, works so much harder than if we had carvalho or adomah out there. Hopefully the lack of matches in recent weeks will have helped him sort that injury out. Feels like if he has a few good games it might get him going a bit.

Does feel like a striker that can play outwide should be the priority in jan right now though
