I'd say fairly even so far. Good play from both teams. Both keepers tested.

Looked like a clear handball earlier on from forest in the penalty area but no one mentioned it.

Hard to say who has been better so far due to the contrasting style employed by the French Gary Rowett.

Ameobi has looked dangerous off either foot but Derby look quite fluid all in all

Fairly even first half there. Ref as predicted has been awful and inconsistent. He’ll send one of our players off (probably bogle) by the end of this match. We’re looking reasonably threatening going forward, but again final bit of quality hasn’t quite been there. Midfield worries me though so far, seem to be lacking a little bit of fight, not winning possession much and giving the ball away too cheaply. Bielik moving from there hasn’t helped, and him being at centre half concerns me as well.

I can't remember the last time I watched a Forest Derby and thought both teams looked good. Feels like at least one of the teams always failed to turn up. Or at least can't string play together.

So no card for Yates but Bogle gets one for less? This ref is awful

Didn't we have this ref earlier this season and he was poo then.

Lawrence looking good, typical Martin play. Clarke was doing well before coming off.

Holmes and Lowe weakest links  although to be expected with who Lowe's defending against (hopefully Holmes scores now)

Derby have every chance to win this, Interesting enough, no review or even discussion on sky regarding the tackle that forced Clarke off early on. I'd like to see Marriott making a few gambles running behind the Forest line, Especially when Lawro is in possesion, Martin remains static and draws attention so a decent run behind the back line could see us nick one. Encouraging though half though

We looked well in the game first half now we are being run around ragged,not sure when Cocu will learn were not good enough to keep playing out from the back,how many goals to we have to give away before the penny drops

Our passing can be unbelievable one minute, then non league standard the next

Ref evened up the score by not sending off Lawrence when should have sent off Yates, but he ignored 2 free kicks before then.  He'll claim playing advantage.  Bielik really needs to play DM, with Evans standing in as CB.  We're so much better with a diamond midfield.

Sack the sniffer dogs.

Had to be Grabban as well, who seems to spend his spare time trimming his pubes and gluing them to his face

Should be a draw this stupid mistake by bogle has cost the game.. they’ve not looked all that great.

I am sure the wailing and gnashing of teeth will continue after the final whistle but we were away to a team higher than us in the table.

For once, I do find myself agreeing with folk putting the ref in a Forest shirt. He was giving them everything.

Two very average teams and a poor atmosphere.

Can’t see them (or us!) going up this year. Just lacked quality all over the pitch.

Well we had the chances to win it, Florist fans celebrating thrashing us 1-0 with a gift. But to sum up, apart from the Derby end ........

That second half was grim.  May as well have had no striker second half .  Midfield with evans and shinnie horrific.  Out worked and out ran by Watson whose a hundred years old .

The most depressing thing is how this utterly average Forest side are so high

Please don't kid yourselves the players are hurting. It's another game to them and off they go to play international or back to their mansions.
Well, after my usual swearing at the final whistle, I need to be objective.  Inconsistent referring went against us.  A stupid mistake cost us. One mistake.  Arrgghh.

 But I thought we looked ok. Definite threat going forward.  Lawrence, Marriott and Martin all should have scored.  Cocu needs to have someone tell him not to play Bielik CB, but Evans instead.  All in all though, we're getting there.  Forest are much more settled yet weren't any better than us. In fact we had the better chances.  We just need to hang in there til Xmas then I see a run to the end with Rooney and a couple of Jan transfers

Threw it away, they are awful. Marriott normally would have buried that chance, as would Martin.


Have to admit as well, the one player I would take from their team is Samba. They seem to have found a composed keeper there, but I suppose you will eventually find one if you have five first choice keepers on the books.


Had the game been refereed properly, forest play most of it with 10 men, and late on Derby get a free kick in a dangerous position rather than a booking against lawrence

Nottinghamshire fire service stand down after earlier reports that the referees car could spontaneously combust at full time.

Two pretty crap teams with a real lack of quality decided by an error. Sad to lose it in that way. Draw would have been fair.

I think Forest deserved their win. Goal was just undeserved one... that's the championship for you. Deserved win with the undeserved goal.

Worst thing I have to support leeds and WBA now, because thought of forest getting top 2 makes me want to gag

One other thing I noticed today is........Joe Lolley is a strange looking bloke

The slightly older amongst us remember trips to the old Baseball Ground which could be quite lively and a decent atmosphere. Their new soulless bowl has none, that seems to have transpired to their away support. No passion, not lively, no atmosphere in away at least.  However, the rest of the ground was rocking, so the Sheep who said no atmosphere was either deaf or referring to the away end only.

i think they are extremely bitter poor relations now, they haven't won here for 9 games or so and they have been faced with very impressive displays of passion and colour and themes that show what a real city is about

i'm really looking forward to Bristol, can't wait, for once it feels like there is nothing to fear whoever we are going up against

personally, extremely proud of the pre match displays and respect and Derby looked ok but totally outclassed at times which is a credit to where we are at right now.
