He's a player I thought would develop into a good championship player.

Robust.  But can play a bit.  Just what you need for this league.  Carv' has some competition.  He needs it.  The whole squad has to have that.

You need that touch of class in a squad.  But they've got to be tough.  Physically and mentally.
