A telling and incisive quote....that makes this comment from them....also telling....and even more incisive....

Having just watched the highlights. Thought Robbo' was poor. Not the 1st goal he's been responsible for in terms of build up play. He was way out of position. Worrall tries to cover....and is also out of position, way out of position and clatters Robbo (prob' for being out of position.... ;)

According to the comments above from Wigan fans, Watson didn't get his challenge in on Lowe.

Forest had ample opportunity to clear the ball. This performance felt like Forest from last season.

Not surprising. Rib' has been better at LB than Jack for me. Dawson is out injured. Sow is out injured. Grabban didn't start. Semedo has been out. No Uncle Albert. Forest under estimated Wigan. And while you have your injuries?


Why no Milo who is another step above Fig' for me. Why no Chem' if he is that classy?

Rostock in Midfield I get. Yates is just back from a knee injury.


The Coach called it. And this time he didn't have Sow to bail him out.


Forest don't look the same team without Sow in CM. He's been the real catalyst of Forest this season.

For 60 minutes we were by far the better team. Great performance after Saturdays disaster.

Great battling performance, fully deserved.

ed the worst before the game, and as usual when you least expect it they turn in a performance like that. I guess that is why the Championship is such an interesting league, anyone can beat anyone.

They should have had a penalty, we got away with one there.

Not a penalty. In real time it looked bad, the replay shows he got the ball.

And the shirt pulling?

And the handball by Ameobi?

Doesn't really matter as these things balance out over the season.

It was definitely a penalty, Lichaj almost had his shirt off.

Though it's about time one went our way.

The only way this season is going to go Forest's way is getting Dawson and Sow on the pitch. Semedo firing on all cylinders.

They have players like Milo, Bridcutt in reserve and aren't using them. One missed the team bus and the other is on loan. (I would have had former Leeds Captain, Bridcutt, as a shoe in for the Wigan or Hull games...) If they aren't deemed politically acceptable (Milo missed the team bus and/or has an attitude problem?) or good enough (Bridcutt wasn't smiling when he arrived at Forest, perhaps he's a moody guy?) then Forest need to acquire the 'drop in' replacements in Jan'.

Has the inevitable slide begun..? Hopefully that will be arrested with the next game.

We haven't done that well vs Hull in recent times.  It goes to show, without Sow that the power, pace and athleticism he introduced isn't there in CM without him.  Sow seems to galvanise the Forest side.

You can't depend on the ref' bailing you out.  Forest had chances to put away and blew them.  But that kind of thing can go against you when you're facing the pressure in CM and defence when half your spine is out injured.  Forest didnt' seem to cope well without Dawson and Sow.

At this rate of going we'll settle between 8-10th.  Which is where Forest were without Sow.

With Rib at LB, Forest seemed far more composed.  I think Jack doesn't seem to get back so well.  He's been out of position several times over the last few games and it's lead to the at least a couple of goals.

The recent run has masked the fact there is still work to do in the January transfer window.

Forest looked a million times more dangerous.

Unlucky with the disallowed goal. Couldn't see anything wrong with it.

BBC stats reckon we had 70% possession today but you wouldn't say that we dominated or put Forest under much pressure.

It was an even game that they edged.

Wasn't even. They looked stronger than us all over the pitch.

Despite the limitations of Forest's forwards, Town's defence never looked particularly secure.

It was tough to watch. Forest played two banks of 4 in a very unambitious mind set and waited for us to make a mistake.

We were really unlucky with those disallowed goals.

One was offside, the other clearly on.

Tbf Forest had a shout for a couple of handball penalties (definitely seen them given) so be careful about remembering all the bad luck and forgetting all the good luck.

I would laugh my head off if we'd been given them.

Forest away - 2 teams going for promotion, 2 teams who are on the back of a good result and 2 teams who can be inconsistent.
Forest - They will fancy there chances. Our away form is dross and after the league cup game (despite the changes) they will feel hopeful to inflict more pain on Derby.
Derby - new formation and a new feeling around the place. Players played well and was the best 90 mins weve had all season. Away form needs to improve and fast! will Forest be a turning point.
Opinion - We have the players to win the game. If all players are fit play the same team and formation from Saturday. If we play the diamond we have a good chance of a decent result if we play 4-2-3-1 I can see us conceding the first goal and we all know what happens after that usually.

I'm just glad we've got some sort of settled side going into this game and we're going in off the back of a win. I don't like the thought of our lack of pace at the back, coupled with Grabban's style of play. I just think we need to game plan to isolate him as much as possible. Forest, as a team, are fairly predictable. They will look to stretch the game as much as possible, not necessarily with long balls but they will have their wide players close to the touchline and look to run us into the ground. They're not one for possession - we're top 4 for possession and they're bottom 4. I don't expect that to change on Saturday. The only worry is our away form, but I doubt that will come into play on Saturday.

Perfect chance to get our away form going.

Really don't see us winning this.

I think Forest would need to play poorly for us to get anything from this one.

Worried about our defence for this. Forest have looked quite sharp this season.

There’s no point going because we’re crap away from home and Forest are half decent this year.

I for one can’t wait for Saturday. Let the Forest fans throw bottles, coins and piss at us all they want. It will be all the more sweet if we win.

Anything but a loss please as i am probably the only Derby fan flying over Saturday from Dublin and there will be probably 40 plus forest on the plane. flying over be ok but the flight back would be hell.
