Without wishing to tempt fate it does feel different so far. In recent years once we'd gone behind it was a case of how many we'd lose by. So far this season we've not lost a league match after having conceded the first goal. We're picking up results against teams we usually struggle against and without playing at our best, which is very encouraging.

Last 3 home games - Preston, Barnsley and Brentford have been tricky games but we found a way win 2 and claw back a draw against a decent Preston side after going behind. Basically we now find a way to suceed in these games.

We've not had that ability to get results in years.

Although the start to the season has been great I've just got a feeling that the bubble is about to pop. TBH I think we are not firing on all cylinders and although the results are going our way, most attacking performances have been just so so, coupled with great defensive displays. its been pointed out that we are being dominated by most teams, We even made Barnsley look good and if they were more clinical in front of goal we would have lost, same with Charlton and Stoke. Birmingham apart, we do not seem to be creating many chances, with few shots on goal.
I can see two defeats coming up, but happy to eat humble pie come Sunday.

Anyone want a piece of my humble pie, especially nice with cream.. :P

During pre-season I said that Matty Cash will never be a right back as long as he has a hole in his backside. I also said Muric was a great signing  :blush:

everything so far says we win these 5 games, certainly don't expect to lose any, maybe a draw or 2 could creep in, but everything generally is screaming that we Win all these games, see ya'll in 15 points and 15 goals time

The thing that’s amazing about Cash is not just that he is coping playing a new position, he looks like one of our best players in most games both defensively and going forward. Shut down the Brentford LW yesterday. 

He’s got so much energy too, really helpful to have players like that in the team when you’re tiring

It makes a big difference not needing to play catch up as we usually are by this stage. 10 points or better from these five will keep us in the top two.

We should be good enough to get 11/12 points from 5 games better than the 2 per game ratio needed to get promotion.

The busy Christmas period will tell us a lot about what to expect. One game at a time and feet on the ground.
