That is the problem with the forum I used to use. It's not moderated by the owners, they only care about revenue from ads not about the actual content of the forum itself. It's moderated by a bloke who is that busy doing other things he spends about 30 minutes per week on the forum.

I know what you mean. On this forum the content comes first. Regarding ads, there will never be any.

Although it is very time consuming I run this forum for my love of our football club and whilever I can keep funding it from my own pocket I will.

Assuming we're talking about the same forum then I agree.

You only have to read their last match thread which extends to 10 pages but mostly revolves around a tenuous joke involving the word "chap". It becomes virtually unreadable and those that have previously made good contributions either get lost in the sound or don't have the heart to even bother.

Barring the odd exception I've seen none of that here and Sniffer cracks down on it straight away if so.

I started on Talk Forest, which wasn't too bad though there were some awfully bigoted, racist and xenophobic posters on there. Could never get on with LTLF and used to like Vital until it got stupid and childish with the in-jokes and the same people repeating the same garbage again and again and again.

Thankfully it seems that few to none of the bad apples from the other forums have turned up here - credit to the admins for running a tight ship.

LTLF bores me to tears and Vital is just about dead.

Thank God for COYR.
