Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 21's

seems like a strange decision being as he is there record signing.
It could be that Almeria are just playing the rules.

If they have to name a 25 man squad like they do in this Country, players aged under 21 do not count in the 25; if that is the case there is no point in naming him in the squad

First-half goals by Yassine En-Neyah and Will Swan were added to by Zach Clough in the second half as The Reds produced a fine away performance to continue their impressive start to the campaign.

Forest: Shelvey, Rama (Spooner 65’), Preston ©, Fornah, Lawrence-Gabriel, Stewart, En-Neyah (Gallacher 63’), Barnes, Swan, Asare, Clough (Sodeinde 87’).

Is Gabriel now playing in the centre of defence?  I remember he was a very promising right back at one stage.

yes he is playing as a centre back, good player at under 23 level but I don't think he will make it at championship level,
fell behind Richardson who is a far better prospect,
although to be fair to him injuries have impacted on his development.

Wonder if we maybe negotiating settlements with them.

Sounds like he may make the squad on Saturday, baffling if true.

Yes, Gabriel has had some bad injuries to contend with to be fair to the lad.

He may not make the 16 but there was a suggestion that he might be part of the match day squad. I would be surprised personally.

Would love to see Sabri get into the Clough's head and get him going in the right direction again.

The boy's got talent, that's for sure.

The one consistent part of Forest over the last 20 years or so.

And 'surprise, surprise', it's been a success.  Who would have thought it, eh?

Well done to Paul Hart, Nick Marshall and Gary who have done a brilliant job with the Academy over the years.

An astonishing amount of talent has come out of this well run talent production machine.  It has helped keep the club on the map and its actions speak louder than mere words.

It's the one part of the club that has been well run to an exacting standard.
