Not knowing what exactly happened, so i won't make any assumptions but........once again the gormless looking bastard is causing bother at our ground yet again!

Last season he wanted to twat young Ryan Yates for celebrating beating the scum after the match. 

Its a bit of a coincidence that these things always seem to happen when the ground is either emptying or is empty. He would never dare do anything like that in front of a packed City Ground. Our fans would make his life hell!

I sincerely hope that whatever did actually happened last night was an accident and not any type of reaction to anything the gormless one may have said or done, and our groundsman doesnt lose his job thanks to Keogh and his arrogance.

One explanation I’ve heard was that the ground staff repeatedly and politely asked them to warm down elsewhere on the pitch due to some unusual wear and tear and Keogh took the piss and started to kick chunks out the ground.

Early days and whilst it does look bad and Keogh is not the nicest of chaps, it does remind me how ridiculously precious football groundsmen are.

On average for 90 minutes a fortnight it gets some stick and then about a dozen staff preen the thing like it's made of silk until the next usage. Meanwhile over the road at Trent Bridge, almost consant useage, the condition  of the pitch can have direct consequences on the results of games, yet they are happy for youngsters to tread on the hallowed turf between innings (albeit on the outfield) and have a bit of a knock at the ended of T20 games.
Just irritates me. Can't stand Keough so hope he "started it", but suspect some jumped up little Hitler reacted to his  childish antics. Time will tell.

Just in case you didn’t know pal, football and cricket are entirely different sports where both surfaces are prepped, maintained and looked after in entirely different ways. 

But I suppose you’re one of these who thinks ground staff just mow grass and paint white lines on pitches and do absolute sod all between games. 

Forest have one of the top stadium pitches and training pitchers in the country and that’s certainly no fluke.

Yep, very well aware of that, also that the time between the games is very significant, which is partly my point. Let the players warm down and sulk or whatever for 10 mins then plenty of time to work on the pitch. In fact, with an away draw in cup I think I am right in saying, only one game on it between now and Sept 21st? 

I hate the sheep and Keogh in particular, but who gives a toss where they warm down when we have stuffed them and we have one game in 3 weeks alongside perfect recovery weather.

My role over the last 6 years has included overseeing grounds maintenance darn sarf, so my knowledge is only very rudimentary, as coal face staff loved to remind me when moaning about too little or too much rain etc don't profess to being an expert, especially as the said grounds were used throughout year (Football and Cricket) but really, a bunch of pro footballers warming down? The staff can wait 10 minutes without the pitch being messed up for the next game surely?

heard that keogh was asked (politely) to warm down elsewhere as the groundmen were working a certain area. keogh went off on one and said he would warm down where he ****** wanted. pushing and shoving (handbags) ensued and keogh managed to get a bloodied neck in the bargain. keogh does seem to get a little wound up when the fresh misty
air rolls in on trentside.

The explanation that Keogh was asked to run elswhere and him giving verbals back does seem plausible.

If it's true that a woman has damaged her knee as a result of all of this then the whole incident is even more distasteful. It might also mean the matter goes legal as an innocent third party has been affected by it all.

Is it my imagination or does Keogh like to kick off when he has plenty of backup and his victim is half his size? I just don’t believe he would have taken such liberty’s were a certain Stuart Pearce in the vicinity, even with his usual back up.

He’s a awful individual with a massive chip on his shoulder, from his behaviour the past few years he also appears to be a bit of a bully, really wish he had been the sheep’s captain when Psycho was ours, would’ve loved him to try and gob off at SP.

Really can’t stand the man, he’s no professional.
