Samba seems to have the making of a cult hero.
Fantastic league debut.
He's got an arrogance about him, which i absolutely love because it shows he is confident. He reminds me a bit of Lee Camp against the scum at the sheep dip after he had saved that penalty.
Even when the teams were coming onto the pitch before kick off he was walking with a swagger.
He is definitely gonna be a fans hero if he carries on like that!!

It surely makes sense for all three parties.
We have Smith and Pants as back up. I was saying the same yesterday :)
A week to go until the transfer deadline day for Europe, it would make sense to send him somewhere he'd be playing regularly.

The one thing that stood out last night was he came ten yards to claim a Derby corner. Pants and Muric would have been rooted.

We noticed it too and said the same. How nice is it to have total confidence in the keeper.

I hope he is our No.1 now. Makes no sense to play a loanee who has less experience in preference to our own player who looks better.

I know I sound like a broken record but why the f did we take Muric in the fist place?
He's got next to no experience of first team football, let alone football at this level, and his inexperience has shone through in the games he's played so far.
I just don't get it.

You called it from the start Pap.
I hope for Muric, and our relationship with City, that he can go back to be loaned elsewhere before the window closes personally.

I think we expected Pantilimon to leave, Steele has already left.
We needed 2 goalkeepers and we signed Muric to be one of them, to be fair nobody ever said that we signed him to be first choice. He is obviously our number 2. Not sure how that benefits City and the player though.

This thing about getting favours from Man City makes no sense, they wont thank us for Muric sitting on the bench but there is something about him that makes me nervous watching him, its like he cant decide what to do for any situation, come out for crosses, come out to block a shot, or stay rooted to his line. His goal kicks are woeful too.
Very very glad we have Brice.

Lamouchi said in an interview that Muric was signed as first choice and Brice to be developed.
Dont know if he has changed his mind already. Saturday’s choice will be telling.

On the assumption that Pants is definitely on his way, if Muric did leave dramatically we'd have Jordan Smith as a no2 keeper. That'll do me. He's our player, we've brought him up and he'll be comfortable here. He's stepped up to the plate before and I'm sure he could do it again if asked.
