Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager

As I indicated, I wouldn’t class most of those 15 as clear chances.

We shut them out well for most of the game.

Back on track with the manager. Before accepting the job he watched all our games from last season on video.

Lamouchi certainly did his homework and didn't come into the job 'blind'.

i can see a plan under lamouchi. that wasnt really apparent under MON. we are more organised already. i am genuinely excited about the potential of progression under this manager. we need to back him fully.

on a sidenote, skysports are sickeningly biased. Danny Mills said we will just creep in top 10. they never shut up about bielsa, he has won nothing here yet. last year one sky pundit put bielsa in his top 5 managers of all time.

The very same Danny Mills who was ripped to shreds at the week end for lazy punditry.

He was caught labeling Sheffield United as a long ball team.

It feels like a good fit and it also appears that Lamouchi, our DOF/Scouts and owners are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Nearly, was a little out of tune as Lamouchi did want another striker

The DOF and Scouts wanted another striker too. So, they are well in tune.

From The Athletic - interview with Lamouchi

"We are at the beginning of the Championship. I know where I am and I know why I am here. I just signed for one year and I do not want or need more.

“I just want, until the last day, to give my all; to give my best for my players and my club. The people here have given me their trust. I will give them back what I can — which is everything.

“I am here for the football, for the passion, for the emotion — to share this. I am a lucky man because I played football for a living and now I am a manager — and I am a manager in the right place, I think."

Like this guy cant put my finger on it but he seems to be a greater leader/coach. I think the reality is we won`t be any near good for a while yet but he is under no illusions.

Wasn’t aware his contract was for just 12 months?
Assume he has a clause(s) to extend?
