It's about the here and now and I am not convinced.
He offers goals.

Not many in 2019 so far.
And just hope he isn't our penalty taker anymore

Grabban needs to find his scoring boots again and fast.

Shit first half, good second half. Did better with support, misses Carvalho.
Ultimately a great finisher who we want at the club. Just should have signed another striker so we've other options too.

If you think that was a shit first half you honestly don't know football.
Forests game plan was to stay in the game quieten the home fans and look to capitalise second half, that's exactly what they did.

I think he's misunderstood. He was running first half and only received the ball about a half a dozen times.

Second half grabban was very good. He mis placed a pass then tracked back to half way and took it back. He is very good with the ball at his feet. We need to play to his strengths....just a thought

He worked his socks off all game; the big difference in the second half was that we got players closer to him.
What I could not understand was why play Silva in the first half if we planned to set our stall out in defending, which we did to good effect, and then take him off in the second half when we pushed on a bit more.

With Forest kicking towards the our fans yesterday i got to appreciate the actual hard work Grabban put in. He desperately misses Carvalho, people say he looks lazy, but that’s not his game to run every where. Play to his strengths and he will get you goals. I don’t understand what the man’s supposed to do without any service.
And anything to shut that prat Burns up in the Post!

Yesterday was about as hard as I’ve seen Grabban work since he came to Forest and it was still limited. If you are happy with him simply scoring and that’s enough to hold down his place in the team then with respect, I’m glad you’re not the manager. Every manager should be duty bound to improve their players and every professional player should be looking to improve themselves. I do not condone asking players to do what they cannot do but asking Grabban to run more, move more, track back and be more of a team player is not a huge science nor is it something he can’t do, laziness is a state of mind and every single player in the team should be willing to give maximum effort to their team and team mates. If he can’t do it because he’s physically impaired then he shouldn’t be in the team. If he won’t do it because he thinks he only has to score to merit being in the team then he shouldn’t be in it. If he adds mobility to his game he might not be in his usual positions to score but he will have created space for others to score. It’s a no brainier. Playing in this league, passengers cannot be afforded.
