Talking of pace and raw ability, Silas Wamangituka at 19 maybe a great investment

Some good targets there Widdow. I saw that Paul Onuachu has 1 year left of his contract so maybe possible to get on the cheap. 

Silas Wamangituka is the kid from Paris FC: I believe he's quite in demand but hasn't signed for anyone yet. There is also another young french kid called Bryan Mbeumo. He is 18 year old winger and also in demand but yet to sign for anyone yet.

However, Sari did say after the CP game that we needed more players with experience so it would be surprising if we went for any of these youngsters.

Worrall's all round game is improving but there are still serious flaws evident, the standard of his passing being the most worrying.

Personally, I think he needs another year out on loan; this time at a better level of football.

I see where you are coming from JCK but I would rather keep Joe here and work on him, let the new manager coach him and also let him learn from Dawson.

After watching a bit of the game last night I have to say one thing that I do like about the new manager is his tactics. Like the formation and the front three won the ball back in some good areas. I thought we played best under karanka when we played 433 as opposed to 4231

Intriguing selection last night. Lamouchi - in earlier games - tended to field his strongest forwards / midfield alongside his second choice back four ( & vice versa ).
I just wonder therefore if his preferred back four were held back last night ( Darikwa, Milo, Figs, Ribeiro )?

Note that we went 4-2-3-1 when Silva went off and actually think that Semedo played better when paired with Watson as one of the DCMs.

Could be but I believe that the back four played quite well yesterday. My only big concern is Dawson's lack of pace. He is painfully slow. I'm certain that Milo would have managed to prevent RS first goal just by having that little bit of extra pace and he has by no means pace as one of his strong attributes.
