Is it really going to take two seasons to build a New Main Stand? Its a long time ago now but I seem to recall the CLough Stand being available partially pretty ealry in the following season then fully available around mid way through the season. Work started immediately after the end of the previous season. That was also a knock down and clear the old stand as would be the case for the Main Stand.

I realise that there will be more to a new Main Stand because of Office, Changing Rooms and Boxes but the Supporter side fo things can be sorted pretty quickly surely?

I somehow doubt that Woody. Because of public safety regs etc, the new stand cannot be used until a safety certificate has been granted and Im pretty certain the safety certificate covers all areas of the ground, including areas not accesible to the public. I could be wrong on this as this is just my assumption on the matter

That is a good point Boatsy.

Nothing wrong with a bit of forward thinking where finances are concerned.

Forest have issued £14.7m worth of shares, which have all been bought by Marinakis' holding company.

This for FFP?

No it’ll be for cash flow purposes I would imagine. This kind of action doesn’t affect FFP.

This is a cash injection, we can buy our own shares if we want... tells me signings are coming!

I hope so bit woulnt be so sure. Think ffp requires debt write off if maximum losses are accumulated.  There's also probably half of the grabban and carvalho fees to pay from last year. And there's Fawaz to pay!

Fingers crossed though.

That is how I see it too BD.

Lets hope we are right.

So many loop holes to get around FFP though it seems.

Can I, purely as a fan of Forest, give them £100m?

(if I had it of course)

Well nothing really came of the cash injection with regards to spending transfer fees, but sure it was just helping with the running costs.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR  :)
