I also thought that Palace closed down in midfield really well, I was even impressed with Benteke's work as my Villa supporting mate used to slam him for being lazy. This obviously changed in the second half when Palace tired.

After reading through the thread it appears that so far we it will be, Muric, Darikwa, Robinson/Riberio, Figs, Milosevic, Watson, Silva, Semedo (front 3 to follow).

Methinks the front 3 - pending more players coming in the next few days - picks itself:
Adomah Grabban Lolley

I have not got a clue what the starting XI will be. It does not appear to be obvious yet, except for Lolley, Grabban and Darwika (no other RB available yet) it could be any combination.

Wouldn’t be so sure re Darikwa - Cash is probably ahead of him in Lamouchi’s thoughts at the moment?
But surely RB is one of the key positions being looked at re recruitment.

I have been expecting some movement on Zeffane now that the African Cup is over but nothing so far.

Guessing more clubs are interested in him now, especially on a free
And if Geddy is leaving, then again less of a pull to come to forest

The squad situation is beginning to look a lot healthier
There has got to be considerably more in-comings, 4 (RB and 3 x CF (surely need 4 CF's for a campaign)) by my count and at least 4 departures (Gueddy, Yacob, Walker and Appiah (loan)) to bring the squad down to 25.
I'm considering Osborn as gone already.
1 GK Pants 2021
2 GK Smith 2020
3 GK Muric 2020 loan
4 RB Darwika 2021
5 RB ANO
6 CB Dawson 2020
7 CB Milosovic 2020
8 CB Figs 2022
9 CB Benaloune 2020
10 CB Worrall 2023
11 LB Robinson 2020
12 LB Ribeiro 2021
13 CM Semedo 2020 loan
14 CM Watson 2020
15 CM Gueddy 2020
16 CM Yacob 2020
17 CM Yates 2023
18 CM Silva 2021
19 AM Cash 2021
20 AM Carvalho 2023
21 AM Lolley 2023
22 AM Ameobi 2020
23 AM Adomah 2021
24 AM Appiah 2023
25 CF Grabban 2022
26 CF Walker 2020
27 CF ANO
28 CF ANO
Those already told they will play no part in the squad.
Steele 2020
Hefele 2021
Murphy 2020
Bridcutt 2020
Clough 2021
Ariyibi 2020

Thats not a bad squad. Prob not good enough for promotion but should be able to put in a challenge for the top 6.

And yet i think it would really only be Milosovic i would consider making an offer to of a new contract. Maybe walker if he can prove he is worth it.
