Yes, our new head coach, Gary Rowett says none of them fit in his plans for 20/21.

Fair enough guys, we are all perfectly entitled to our own opinions but do you see my point about wanting a more mobile midfield? Sure, Colback can do a job and that particular job he does well which is to provide cover for our defense. But these days i feel a defensive midfielder must be able to get around the pitch quickly and offer a little more on the ocassions they do venture forward. Colback in my humble opinion is one dimensional and if he was as good as some of you are suggesting, why isnt he in demand?

Maybe his heart is set on Forest only...I do think this is a fair point, not sure why no-one wants him, wages maybe.

could be another 2 managers by this time next year, the squad is bursting at 65, a dozen or so get picked up after training and taken to the British Legion

Anyone care to estimate value of both outgoings & incomings this summer so far? All ‘undisclosed’ and so almost impossible to gauge - but would give us a possible guide on available funds for a potential marquee ( striker? ) signing.

So I think you are looking at about 7.4m plus what they get for any of the bomb squad.

I think we can stretch to 10m if the right player is available

Probably worth thinking about it in FFP terms which removes any gain on soudani as we’d still owe the remaining initial amortisation. The others all free (assume vellios has amortised by now)

However on the other hand transfers in can be amortised so silva will cost a bit less in accounting terms (250k), then as Osborn is an academy player we can get that straight away as he has no asset value in the accounts so that £4.5m is worth a lot. Hypothetically FFP wise could easily spend £20 and technically that would be covered by that alone (Assuming 4 year contracts)

Not saying that’s a good strategy mind but it’s nice to know the option is there

Personally I'd like to have seen Watson added to the list of players that have been told that they can find themselves a new club.
