I think this one is getting closer to the finishing line and deserves it's own thread now, it seems more than just a rumour/gossip.
195 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb and 86 goals plus 54 assists.  Very impressive indeed.

Hope it's his last game for them Jock and then that he's on his way to the City Ground. Judging by what the player said in January he certainly has that desire that Karanka talks about to wear the shirt.  Phenomenal record in Croatia, granted it's not the strongest league in the world but it's not the weakest either.

"I wanted to be in England because of the great atmosphere at the stadiums, playing against great teams, I think that’s normal. But as I say, hope still exists somewhere, only God knows what will happen by the end of the transitional period I will accept any decision.”

apparently he was free to join once they qualified for the champions league.

you win some you lose some. seanie Maguire has done well at preston after coming across from the irish league which is poor.

but for every Maguire there is a Cummings, veldivijk, djebbour etc

Vydra record wasn't great when he arrived in England.
There is an element of risk in every transfer that's for sure.
For the 1M - 1.5M quoted above by NG3 it sounds like a risk worth taking.

Any figure below the 2 million mark is a decent figure

Agreed Malta, for someone with his record/stats it's a reasonable fee to pay.

Hopefully Soudani will be making his farewell appearance tonight in the Croatia Cup Final. Dinamo Zagreb - Hajduk Split.
It will be interesting to see if he says his goodbyes to the fans at the end of the match.
