As well as a club legend, Francis was a fairly decent manager a few years back too so his opinion deserves a little more respect.

History, it's what made Marinakis pick us, rather than Ipswich, Stoke etc. Whilst he celebrates the past, Marinakis is building a new stadium and investing in our future. Everything at the club is about moving forward, getting to the prem. Our history made this possible. People like Trevor Francis and MON.

In fairness this wasn’t even insulting, just disagreeing with Francis opinion. Not sure the reaction to green man is justified. 

For what it’s worth I also disagree with Francis, our squad is solid only needs minor changes
