Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up?

I think we have learned our lesson when it comes to recruitment.

I am confident of a very good season ahead.

If you are then i am. Recruitment this summer is crucial. Last summers wasn't too bad so if it betters that then we'll be ok.

We are going up next year. Cardiff and Udds offer little, but Fulham will be dangerous. Will see where we are Jan 1st before predicting whether we will be Champions or Runners Up.  Today has been a good day.

You will never know how much I want to believe you Zicorice, I have believed for far too many seasons now, and been let down, however I’m prepared to believe in one last season, one last throw of the dice that this time it will be our year. Thing is I’m greedy, I dont want to go through the agony of playoffs, I want the whole caboodle, I want autos!

Hmm not sure we will go up this year if i'm honest. We should be there or there abouts but it all depends if we recruit correctly and how the other teams in the league recruit. Still have my concerns over the manager purely based on what we saw during the tail end of the season. Can he get us off to a good start and get us to winning ways when the pressure is on rather than then we had no pressure and results didn't mater for us or the teams we played? MON has the CV for sure but there is just something that feels a little off and we might struggle for results.

Well I fancy us to finish above a good number of those clubs whose odds are shorter than ours.
Could make for some worthwhile bets once handicap betting odds released.

You could make a case for 16 of those teams to finish top 6 IMO.

It's going to be a very open division again I think. There's no outstanding team in the three coming down, and though Fulham might be favourites, surely they'll lose a lot of the players they bought last summer. Leeds, Boro and West Brom will be strong I imagine but two if not all three of them will have new managers. The sheep will have lost their three best players and again, possibly their manager. It'll be there for the taking again for any teams good enough do to it.

There are 7-8 teams above us in that list who I would fancy us to finish above next season.

I can't take that list too seriously when we don't even know what type of squads the teams will have come the first game of the season.

If we can resist a Karanka style wholesale player turnover and get most of the good loans back (Colback, Wague) we can have a settled squad with not many new faces and a manager who's had 6 months to have a look at it.

We could look like strong contenders early on whilst other teams/managers take time to settle in.

You'd think so but it may take some time to settle down up there while the players and club get over the disappointment of how the season ended. 

I think they'll do it myself, one way or the other.
