As always luck will play a part, not so much with refs as on balance we did lose a few more points than we gained through poor reffing. but not that many-albeit we had an awful spell of crucial decisions go against us., but injuries have often derailed us in the past. We need cover at LB, Robinson was an excellent signing but was a gamble having started just 36 games in 4 years for QPR. Daws, Figgy, Grabs and all our back up strikers except Murphy were injured at crucial times. Plus Byram being out for us as he is class.
We will keep the winning streak going and March to the prem. I may be a bit influenced by the fact I am in process of returning to Notts after a long absence no more 400 mile round trip for a home game. A 30 minute stroll or 5 minute drive only now. You reds.

To be fair I don't think we can compare Marinakis to Alan Hardy!
No matter what Notts fans said, Hardy did not come from a football background and he had no experience at running a football club and finally he showed.
Marinakis however is a proven winner in football circles.

I think he will get us to the PL, but I don't think it will be with Martin. We will have a better view after the transfer window shuts, what we do versus other teams. Remain to be convinced that the way Martin wants to set us up will bring results as quickly as Marinakis wants them.

we certainly seem to be conceding alot slower, not having get a squeeky bottom and 20,000 all heading for the facilities every time we concede a corner or a free kick even on the half way line
chuck a name in, who is the guy that is better than M o N, just out of interest, this Mr or Mrs X, would you want it more for them or for M o N
I am not totally blinkered about M o N except with Martin and Roy it just feels like i am supporting NFFC as opposed to a plastic fake fleeting franchise
I think there is so much to know about the game, even the club, the staff, the best deals at Hooters and how to get the slightly better cooked and bigger portion of buffalo prawns
Everything considered, connection to the club, knowing the club and the city, past achievements, connections, we have the best 2 guys, a proper football real club, a player who made his debut in the old championship in 1971 ... did ok but not good enough for the modern fan?

What gives me hope for next season is that the teams who have come down from the PL are nothing to be afraid of in my opinion. There is no clear favourite, I reckon we have just as good a chance as anyone.

We certainly have good foundations for a change, if we can build on those which I am sure we will do we have every chance. At least we have a hope of down to earth transfers not pie in the sky experiments. That is the key for me, good solid professionals. But not over the hill injury prone ones (sorry Daws). Build a team of solid players around our flair players and we will get there.

If you are then i am. Recruitment this summer is crucial. Last summers wasn't too bad so if it betters that then we'll be ok.

We are going up next year. Cardiff and Udds offer little, but Fulham will be dangerous. Will see where we are Jan 1st before predicting whether we will be Champions or Runners Up. Today has been a good day.

I thought MoNs remarks in last weeks interview in Greece were quite telling, particularly the ones relating to how good a relationship he had built with Dourakis and Vrentzos.
MoN can be very persuasive and you can be sure he made a compelling case about the direction our dealings should take.
What a lot of people probably do not know is that in addition to any targets we may have, we also get inundated with agents offering players; I heard that to date we have been offered over 30 players.
Most may be not what we are looking for, but they will all need checking out in case there is an uncut diamond in there.
