I think they're doing an OK job and restructuring the club's none-playing core steadily enough, but the only comminication we've had from them in their time here have been broken promises, and they've turned our club into a vehincle for agents & below par foreign based players to leech off.
The club appears to be in a constant state of flux in one way or another, with DOF's coming & going, managers given little time with unrealistic expectations, and a plethora of players moving in & out in some bizare "throw as much shinola and see what stick" modus operandi.
Not saying we can't do well with them, nor do I want them gone per say, but I just don't like them or how they've operated so far in regards to football matters.
I also don't like our ties to Olympiakos, nor the fact that ultimately we'll always play second fiddle in the owner's eyes to them.
A lot hangs on MON, how they back him, and how they go from here.

Before Marinakis took over at Forest, Olympiakos had won 7 League Titles on the trot.
Since he took over at Forest they have won bugger all. AEK won the league last year and PAOK won the cup. PAOK will win the league this year and either AEK or PAOK will win the cup.
Just a coincidence? I don't think so.

As mentioned by NG3 in another thread with the owners appointing MON and the decent January window it looks as though the owners are finally getting to grips with the challenges of this league without a scattergun approach.
What really pleases me is the stadium upgrades, it shows a long term commitment to the club and a determination to get out of the championship.
Presuming we don’t get to the prem this season next season should be an exciting one.

It was always going to be a learning curve, which is why I've not been to down on them.

Yes, that level of investment can only be recovered one way so that's as big a signal of intent as you're ever going to see, & the right kind, as well.
With the stadium & new academy facilities, EM is making as big an investment as any of the more high profile Sugar Daddies, but instead of throwing the money at the short term he's investing it in the long term.

the Stadium upgrade is massive news and one which cements the owners intent. Getting the infrastructure right is massive. The academy is punching above its weight and producing talent. The added investment here that is not ffp based and on the stadium which is not ffp based are the right long term decisions. For too long short termism of first team has held us back. I am now sure that the owners know what they are doing and their intentions. I worry about ffp with our bloated squad but I’m willing to give them the benefit of doubt now.

The ground is really nothing special, it's a modern flat pack, a bit like Pride Park and the surrounding areas are horrendous. They have a fancy press room with some fancy chairs but don't be fooled by that.
The City Ground will be miles better.

Evangelos Marinakis will do an interview (very rare) on Greek TV tonight where he will talk about anything and everything.
