Interesting read Jock.

I think he needs a season in League One personally.

I prefer tolet MON and RK decide.

I don't think Tyler looked out of place in the championship under Warburton.

Since then I would like to think that he has become a better player.

Lets see what he shows in pre season, the jury is still out for me.

If ever there's a time for Tyler to make his breakthrough it's now. He's had a great season in a physically demanding league. I don't see him as being a first-choice starter but it'd be great if he was playing well enough to be regularly making the squad as backup.

He also struggled badly at Bolton and elsewhere

Ive seen Mansfield once this season on the tv. The standard was poor when compared to the championship and is light years away from the premier league.

Looking forward to watching their playoff game on Thursday (think it is) to see how he's doing but to go from that standard to the standard we'd require would take a colossal amount of talent.

I’ve seen Walker play at Field Mill this season - not what we require IMHO...

Also, not sure where Tyler would fit into the 3-4-2-1 system that we have been using successfully recently.

We need flexibility, but we don’t really have pace and the ability to play more of a 4-3-3 at the moment. If he was of the quality for a Walcott type player then it would give us a useful option.

But he’s not...

Mark Warburton about to be announced as QPR's new manager. Be interesting to see how he'll do there.

Maybe he’ll be interested in a couple of the players we’d be happy to let go of?
