That is a no brainer surely.

I know that Hart has been poor by his own standards for a couple of seasons now but he was one of the best in the business 4 or 5 years ago, he is still only 32, not old for a goalkeeper.

Joe Allen is one already mentioned but face competition. One other is currently at wolves (not bonatini) and in my opinion would be a great signing. The club is also repairing damage done by the previous regime with other clubs such as Chelsea. Chelsea also in a bit of a conundrum with transfer ban and upcoming loan restrictions from FIFA if passed. Leicester are also interested in using us as a possible partner in acclimatising players- whatever that means. Not naming the 3 big loans as not in public yet.
Info is from an agent friend independent from Forest who I know socially. As always it is a bit of informed gossip And can’t be arsed with any crap from other posters.

Definitely not if he’s on big wages, no. Well past his peak and seems to have been error prone and dropped since City. If we’re going to strengthen, do it properly, else we get comparable players and a bloated squad with a higher wage bill. We need quality not quantity and Hart isn’t a significant step up in quality for the effort.
