It started before MON arrived GreenMan to be fair.

I’m sorry, but at the time there wasn’t much of a mess...........Yes we needed a couple of centre halves granted and the squad before the January window was slightly unbalanced. But nothing that a decent manager at this level could’ve sorted and built on and reinstalling confidence 

But no O’Neill comes along, adds to the slightly unbalanced squad to make it a very unbalanced squad and undoes all the good work that had been done by completely unfootballing everything with creativity none existent. 

So no I haven’t got a short memory, but thanks for being so patronising anyway.

But that only scratches the service GreenMan.

lost to burton in the cup 4:2 ..massive opportunity wasted

0:1 qpr lost
3:3 norwich  draw ( felt like a very bad loss)
1:0 milwall lost
4:2 leeds won

it wasnt all roses. he also had used 48 different players in year of management and wanted much more again (comparing to warnock at cardiff who got promoted has only used 54 players in almost 3 years.

How about before his job was publicly questioned? Because all of those 'last results' basically came after his job was made untenable. Before that we were going along quite nicely, not perfect but a lot better than it has been under the new manager.

Edit: I should edit this and say he wasn't actually questioned publicly until after Norwich, but all those results are post Ipwich where something had clearly happened behind the scenes.

there was rumblings of him leaving back in august against birmingham ...i heard this from somebody within the club. norwich had nothing to do with him being publicly questioned it was poor management. 48 players in one year...signed hefele then wanted him gone a couple of months later. failure to change formation or tactics. he won 4 games in his opening 20 matches.

Exactly, so we shouldn't really be blaming MON. He wasn't even at the club.

It's the easiest thing in the world just to blame mon but it's not justified in my opinion.

Okay, he has not been perfect, in fact he has been rather disappointing although our own form is good.

I think we need to look much deeper than just blame mon though.

MON absolutely isn't the only guilty party, the board have messed this season up they take the majority of the blame, whatever happened with Karanka was pretty much a disaster and destroyed our form around December, it took so long for things to come to a head and for Karanka to leave, but they also made a huge mistake replacing him with MON whose style is completely at odds with the squad we have (which isn't as bad as is being made out to absolve him). Mistakes have been made by the board this season and they need rectifying before the damage carries on into the transfer window and next season.
