Give him the summer and then sack him in December when we are 7th? Thats what we do every bloody year, its the mid season change that messes things up.

I have argued for stability and the need to give O’Neill time but accept we are watching some dross at the moment. I agree with some who have said that if things arent going to work out he will walk at the end of this season.

A lot will depend on who is available.

If EM has the option of a good manager to come in...…….I think MoN could "resign" at the end of the season (eg bigger pay off for resigning and not having to be sacked). Easy to say that its taking its toll and he has to retire now...…….

So although that does not answer the question of stick or twist...…...I think EM will twist if he can get someone he really wants. MoN was just the best of those available at the time of AK throwing a wobbly.

I'm still confident that MON and RK can delivery promotion next season.
Changing our manager every few months has not worked. I've been wanting us to stick with a manager for the last few. You can not sack manager after a bad game or two.

I have gone twist, simply because i did not want him in the first place. I have always said his style of football is boring and clueless. His tactics are still in the 1990's and its a shame because he was an amazing player. Since MON arrived i have never been so bored listening/watching Forest and it has come to the point where i would rather do something else for 2 hours than be bored to death.

After following Forest for over 40 years through good and bad times it pains me to say i have literally lost all interest.

We all moaned and groaned about Fawaz, and now Marinakis, firing managers on a whim. But reading comments on here, the fans are just as much in the same mindset.

MoN was set an impossible task of taking over mid transfer window, picking the players up, turning around results whilst addressing an appalling discipline record and achieving at top 6 finish whilst being without the club's top scorer and any fit centre backs. He hasn't managed to do that but for God's sake, give him some credit for how close he came. He had a aging Murphy as his sole dependable striker - Bonatini and Karim, both probably not his picks, have proven not be up to scratch in this division.

He's now in a position where chasing wins. OK, we should've done better on Saturday I accept that, but I'm sure he would've wanted to go to Sheffield tomorrow and keep it tight and sneak a win if possible. He's now got to chase a win, which may well end up with us being beaten again. In which case he'll get slaughtered.

Marinakis has so far only fired one manager to be fair and that was a manager who was appointed when Fawaz was still here.
