It'd be interesting to know what their true income from sponsorship is today. Can they still be considered to be a 'big 6' club, or without the cheating are they now equivalent to a Villa or a Newcastle?

When you consider we got 4 points for a 34m over run for the year, which was for just 2 weeks as we rectified the situation by selling Brennan, what's an appropriate punishment for a £830m overrun over 10 years? And what's happened since?

Some talk of a 20 point deduction for 3-5 years. Not enough to relegate them but sufficient to leave them mid table for a long time.

That's not punishment enough in my opinion. If they don't get automatically relegated then whatever points deduction they do get needs to be enough to send them down.

during the 2/3/4 years left to go before sanctions are actually applied will any "top" players want to move to Man City? Maybe their decline will become clear from now.

I want them out the league and realistically thats just going to be for 1 season. But what's the true state of their income now? The prem needs to make sure they're playing by the rules now, and those bollocks artificial figures they've been claiming are no more. I can see them really slipping away now from the top table of English and European football. Their brand is tainted, there's no Pep anymore and im sure they'll start to decline.

Promoted as Champions in 1 season, following season finished 3rd in SerieA then in Champions League the next season after only 2 years away. You could easily see the exact same thing with City.

Multi-division then. Make them start from the bottom like Rangers had to.

Nowhere near severe enough. They will not be a Premier League club next season. Needs 15 EPL clubs to vote them to be expelled from the League. Would imagine that level of support is there to do this

I've not seen the full video that Man City's CEO has sent to their internal staff but from the bits I've heard about it it sounds almost Trump-like in its delusion.
Insisting that they have 'irrefutable evidence' that they're innocent and accusing the Premier League of a conspiracy. Well if they have all this evidence why were they found guilty on all but one charge? Is it just on a USB drive somewhere?

They cant be relegated straight to the Championship and the best that they could hope for is to reapply to join the ELF in div 2 assuming that the 72 member clubs vote them in, but who has to leave to accomodate them!
