Agree Ive seen people ridiculously blaming Ornstein. There is no doubt in my mind he was tipped off by someone at Everton who was concerned at the decision.
Unfortunately it was probably our best chance as it was under the radar, other clubs aware now. Having said that spoke with a Sheep freind, Armstrong was on loan there 24/25, said he was good but never £40m good. To be fair he’s probably out of touch with PL values!
