He also is young. People are writing him off because he failed at Chelsea - well lots of players have failed at Chelsea. Two seasons he bagged 13 goals for a struggling Ipswich side. At forest he will get the chance to lead the line and hopefully play with a swagger and confidence.

And unlike when we signed Chris wood, this lad could become a figurehead at the city ground for the next decade. Really hope this one proves a bargain long term

Wanted him last year but understood why went Chelsea. Some may say it's a bonkers club but they had a big gap up front he backed himself to fill

Hopefully Woody can help his development

Welcome Liam. I get why some have their doubts about him but Im fully onboard and excited at the prospect now. Lets get real if he had scored 12-15 for Chelsea last season they wouldn’t be letting him go. He was in a tough environment in a club with 47 players and a pretty toxic culture there.

We all wanted him last season and were disappointed, cant blame the lad for choosing a glamour club at the time. Both him and us have a second chance. He’s mates with McAtee and he can learn from a CF with a very similar profile in Wood. Every confidence OG can get the best from him and if so the sky is the limit. As many have mentioned there is a dearth of England forwards when Kane retires.

I'd like to add that Forest is 'just the type' of club he needs.

Okay, some of those photos of Liam at Wollaton Hall are just weird.

So Bakwa just came on as sub against PSG and looks like he’s scored the winner with a great goal!

Spoke too soon! A second goal in injury time for PSG and it finished 2-2. Bakwa curled one in the top corner though, where was that for us?!

Lost by having to get used to a new country and four managers.
