Pre Season Friendlies 2026
Reserves or not. Forest playing well. Pressing high and getting players in the box. A bit vulnerable at the back when pressing high which. has been exposed a couple of times. Will get murdered in PL if defend the same.

Seen suggestion that there was a behind closed doors friendly v Coventry yesterday that key first team players took part in hence not playing today

Watching this Im wondering if they realised this Brest team are not Prem League standard and Glasner decided to give them a better test. I mean a win is a win but this looks too easy even with the B team.

If he wants to I agree but not sure he does. As it stands we have Kali, Jesus, MGW, Ndoye, Hutchinson, McAtee, CHO and Bakwa all competing for 2 No10 spots. I would say 2 have to go.

Given how much Bakwa is playing I'd imagine he goes.

Also seems McAtee is being lined up for one of the two deeper midfield roles rather than as a number ten.

Any world where netz starts on the left and neco on the right against Leeds?

Still leaves 6 players for 2 x No10/wide forward places.

Weve had a few pre seasons where we literally never scored a goal. They havent all looked the strongest opponents but weve done fairly well in every game with unlucky defeats in that weird Udinese competition. Good confidence boosts I hope.
