There are obviously reasons we don't know about why it's not been announced yet. I imagine these contracts are incredibly complex and take a while to pull together.
Ok are we the only club to do everything in private with transfers because it seems to me that every club is being reported of wanting to sign someone except us. Not even a smell of a signing. With the manager side of it what would the reason of releasing a manager without being extremely close to having another one pretty much signed. I'm sure it don't take long in any employment situation for it to take this long. Plus the fact Glasner is a free agent it should be even quicker. I get the concern but as others have said there must be reasons why no official announcement has yet been made. Also look at the Maresca appointment at City as an example. It was widely reported, as it has been with Glasner and us, that he would be the next manager after Pep but that took a while to be formally announced. If what others have said is true as well, then this isn’t a knee jerk reaction and has been being worked on for some time.
As for transfers. Yes lots of specualtion in the press about who other clubs might sign and yes, there has been activity by likes of Spurs. There has though been plenty of speculation/links to players for us including Jones, Bergvall and the South African defender. I’m sure now Anderson’s move is done and Glasner is through the door that we will start to see things happen.
Totally different as Maresca needs to pay money to Chelsea and Glasner is a totally free agaent

And ultimately there's no point in getting annoyed about it because the amount you can influence it is precisely zero. Stuff will happen when it happens.
Can imagine theres a slight delay now. We need a quality replacement for Anderson atm and thats it. Glasner Will want to asses his squad before any more incomings/outgoings you would think?

Yeah that would make sense. Though I guess it would depend on how long these talks have been going on and how far back Glasner decided to take the role.
I presume by the timing of our email to Vitor it was pretty recent!

Yes Glasner was a free agent but we don’t know the specifics of his contract or departure that perhaps might have an impact. Likewise as others have also suggested it won’t just be Glasner but also his backroom team to sort out. You'd imagine we’d want to announce it all at once.

His contract ran out at Palace so he don't owe Palace anything and join whoever he wants but I do agree it might be something to do with his backroom staff though.

I'm of a view that the club saw the signing of Glasner as important to attract the calibre of player needed to take to club to where EM wants to be.
As people have said, both EM and Glasner are very ambitious.

I am genuinely excited by this move... I guess that's why I just want it confirmed. I think he really could help take us to the next level if(and I'm sure he will be) backed with the right tools

Surely we save some money off his pay off then. He was on £2m a year. We paid £2.9m according to the clubs accounts.

Any manager Bayern Munich over 18m for and it gets turned down, to then land the Forest job... I would say we SHOULD be excited.
