I think it’s probably the opposite.
Was asking for a big hike, EM prob said you need to prove it at the start of next season……

I seem to recall the subs at 2-0? were suicidal.

Generally I think coaches need to be flexible. He changed system to 2 strikers but if/when that gets found out? Especially with Anderson likely missing. For me the jury is always out on a coach until they show flexibility (including in-game savvy) over time. Remember that joker Amorim at Man Utd? Wouldn’t change even when it was obvious it was costing results. Wouldn’t or couldn’t? Either way, if you can’t adapt you’re not a good coach in my book.

I agree that's a bit of a what if moment, but we were only winning 2 - 0 I think at half time when we brought our big players on. I know plenty of people that agreed with the decision, especially as Chelsea were having a good spell. If my memory serves me correctly....
