Played well in spells. Gutted not to finally beat them.
But just happy not to lose and have to see them celebrate on our pitch.
And they missed out on champs league - good. (They won’t know what’s hit them next season with Thursday/sunday/Thursday matches.)
Anderson got his goodbye sub. Gutted he’ll be off, but he’s been exceptional for us.
Another class goal from MGW. Tuchel, you fool.

A 1-1 to end the season which was a fair result, Thought we were the better team for most the game apart from between 45-65 minutes.
Last 10 games under Vitor we got 17pts.
It didn't feel like a game between 6th and 16th.
Recover and rest is due for the players. A tough season, Some very good wins in the season but so many low points.

5th in 10 game form table
Also highest scorers in division with 22 goals in last 10 games.
That’s incredible to say we were 2nd lowest scorers in division until Vitor arrived.
He’s done an exceptional job

Yep, he really has. Its clear that these days players need the type of manager who can put an arm around them and tell them how good they are. That's Pereira.
Managers like Dyche, who work the players hard, tell them to man up and generally treat non performers with distain are looking more and more like dinosaurs in todays game.

I think a lot of us on here are a bit old school and lets be honest Clough was mostly a kick up the arse manager. He did know when to put an arm around but that was more an exception for your Robbo type.
I guess when a player is on 80k a week and is worried about what brand of face cream to apply I don’t have too much sympathy when they say they don’t want to run in training.
Anyway well done Vitor in bringing the best out of the squad, I don’t think any of us believed he would make the impact he has.

Cloughie liked his players to do their on the pitch not the training ground. The players used to have a lot of time off. He created a positive atmosphere with the players enjoying what they did. Dyche did their opposite. There had to be some accountability but that was delivered or not on the pitch. If a player didn’t fit what he wanted they were gone within seconds.

If you read the reports from West Ham, Nuno is exactly the same, you're either in or out, no in between. That said there was clearly a close bond with Nuno and a number of our squad, whether those left out felt the same Im not sure. There are plenty of players who dont look back on Clough as fondly as we do too.
Its going to be important next season with fewer games and potentially a lot of the squad not being involved on match day to make them included.

Surely you hope that’s a motivator in of itself, even with Europe yates saw the least minutes since he broke into the first team, Dominguez saw his prem minutes cut in half. You’d hope that they keep pushing on the training pitch
Jair cunha whilst we all think is impressive will debutise for milenkoviv, we know that so it’s up to him to push him all season
On this though I could post it in a different thread I think we should go full strength as soon as we enter both cups especially after the travel these players have had in Europe this season it should be a piece of piss

I think Man Utd have massively benefited this year from not having decent cup runs, they’ve played something like 40 games all season, which has enabled them to focus on finishing as high as possible.
One thing we wouldn’t want is to qualify for the Conference League.

I think our B team could handle the Conf League now. That's to say up to the semi's probably anyway. And judging by the sucess of Prem clubs in it over the last few years, it gives you 75% chance of being in the Europa League the next season.

Did the entire ground run out of water at halftime, or just the main stand? Sodexo's planning is amazing
