Wonder what creative way we'll find not to win this one.
It would be kinda nice to deny them Champions League football though after we got robbed out of automatic promotion a few years back.

Hate them. Hate them. Hate them.
I work in Bournemouth and have to drive past their Red Army banners every day.
Their fans are sooooo smug and full of it.
Would love nothing more than to beat them.
Did I mention I hate them?

It would be so nice to finish the season on a high and actually beat our boggy team.

I first picked up on the stuff with their weird fans when we had beaten them 1-0 at the WFCG in the Championship, after they had dominated all game. It then escalated with the game that was called off last minute for light wind damage to their shed. Which understandably made a load of fans angry after they'd forked out for travel or had been in hotels ahead of the game.
Beyond that there is often something or other of irritation in the games, whether it was the penalty which was incorrectly given offside on the game to get the upper hand on automatic promotion, or Boly seeing red for winning the ball cleanly, or us getting stuffed there.
I have been twice to the home games vs them, lost both 3-2. This season the prospect of needing points to stay up versus them when tickets went on sale, made me go with Newcastle instead. Couldn't stand the thought of losing to the weirdos and going down, would have been up there with Yeovil etc.
Can't stand them either. Been hoping their wheels come off for four seasons now

I had a soft spot for them as had a mate at uni and took me to their great escape match in their replica of our old Trent end. Great game and experience. Cant stand them now and have a deep dislike for their inflated stature. They are a 3rd division club at best. It’s an appalling attitude from me and one I don’t understand but I think this comes from anger at our 23 years out of the top flight and jealousy.

For me it's the holier-than-thou attitude of Bournemouth fans. Brentford ones too. OK I get that their clubs are well run but the fans don't half ram it down your throats.

It's called small club syndrome.

I actually dont mind Bournemouth, find them far less arrogant than Brentford.
However I don’t want to see them celebrating their Champions League qualification at the end of our game. Really pisses me off when other teams achieve something at our expense on the final day. Remember Leicester beating us on the final day to get to the playoffs and Brighton too, horrible watching them celebrate, sour grapes or not.

They just took the lead against Man City.
If it finishes like that and Villa win tomorrow then they already clinch a CL spot regardless of Sunday.
