Maybe he's already got the call from Tommy T.

Think that interview was recorded a couple of days ago so not sure about that. I read somewhere today that the calls would be happening today so stuff will probably start to leak later - it usually does.

I really hope he gets in, I honestly think there is a good argument for him to start on the left at this point. Maybe this late switch to playing wide for Forest is enough to get him in on versatility although TT likes pacey wingers.

Either way, even if he is behind Bellingham and Rogers, he should be ahead of the other options in the number 10 slot. TT not really shown much interest so far though so who knows. Would be weird not to take the 2nd highest English scorer and take Palmer or Foden instead who have had poor seasons.

Edit there is Eze too, although MGW clearly been outperforming him at least statistically. Eze does start for the league champions though so can see why he might get in ahead.

My bet is he doesn't make it. He would've been in the last 35 man squad if he had a chance. TT just doesn't fancy him.

Watkins wasn't in that 35 and he's expected to be in after showing similarly good form. You're right though it feels like he won't be even though the vast majority of people would like him to be, not just a bias thing on our end.

That's what I'm thinking too, though it'd be massive injustice, particularly if Foden, or even Palmer, were picked ahead of him.

Yeah exactly, Bellingham, Rogers and Eze should be in but he should be next. Plus he is pretty versatile and can be used deeper or out wide. Not like we're exactly stacked out wide atm, Gordon and Rashford seem to be our LW options to start.

TalkSport reckon Kobbie Mainoo is going to be in the England squad so not sure if that would impact MGW's chances. They reckon it'll be at the expense of Adam Wharton.

What a shock - a 'Big 6' player getting a call-up ahead of an 'Other 14' one.

Leaks already started. Maguire apparently left out.

Maguire not going ahead of Colwill is pathetic. Colwill played 3 games all season.

Shaw and Timori left out reportedly. Surprised at Shaw - played the full season for the third placed team.

BBC saying no Foden. Good.

Toney in apparently.

That might impact MGW.
