For that to happen they need a point, for Villa to lose and for Liverpool to win.

Annoyingly given the fixtures they're all quite likely outcomes.

More than likely. The winner of our semifinal was always likely to be the overall winner. 
But we were comprehensively beaten by Villa, probably in many ways are most one sided defeat of the season. 
Villa have been outstanding in the tournament, worthy winners and no shame in going out to them.

Yes I agree Villa were worthy winners of the cup.

The real final was Villa - Forest and they beat us.

The 2 teams in the other semi final were shocking.
