The next 2 games is all about for us, getting some young players some game time, their first start etc...  Anyone in need of rest does not play.......the sure fire way to get injured is to play too much, so lots of rest for most players and lots of game time for those who have not played much.

We need a solid pre-season so we need everyone back in tip top condition, and that starts with not playing the last 2 games now.

We don’t have any B team players remotely ready for playing Premier League football.
We will go with our best team.
We can leap frog Palace and Leeds and that is an extra 6m in the coffers.

Jimmy Sinclair is a decent prospect. He deserves some premier league minutes this season.

Abbott too arguably if he is fit. (although I would push to finish as high as possible personally)

Just mentioned this on the gameday thread.

I reckon its Sels, Ortega (?), Murillo (outside chance, probably not now but would surely want to play if fit), Dominguez (is he anywhere near their squad?), Sangare (would imagine he'd want minutes pre World Cup if possible), Anderson obviously (probably doesn't need to play 90 tbh, for England's sake!), N'Doye (will want minutes if possible), Wood (will surely want to continue on the trajectory of ramping up before the World Cup), then of course MGW will be desperate to play if possible to prove he can play in the mask. Igor Jesus too might not be miles off Brazil squad (?).

So quite a lot with reason to want to push harder if anything, only really Anderson that would probably benefit from reduced minutes. No idea how close if at all any of the above to getting in their squads though?

Yes, decent prospect.
But the club couldn’t get him a league 1 loan this season, so to suggest he can play in Prem is ridiculous.

Quite funny that Newcastle and Leeds fans saying they’d be happy to throw their games to ensure spurs go down! I am hoping that Villa lose to Freiburg and need us to get a result against Bournemouth and we play our youngsters - solely due to injury of course!!!!

Don’t get me wrong it would be funny if Villa messed it up but I do not want Bournemouth players and fans celebrating in our stadium. Not a chance. We have to beat them.

The way West Ham were wronged by that Villa performance v Spurs was criminal. Football needs to correct that for them.
