Can’t blame folk for celebrating a win, it’s a Europa semi final.

Ten years ago we were 17th in the Championship.

Still plenty to play for.

It’s when the players celebrate too hard that you have to worry (like Midtyjlland at the City Ground).

Football is about moments and you have to live in them as a supporter, enjoy this today as we have not seen the likes for decades. Get carried away, the tie is not over but some have witnessed forest win a European semi final game under the lights at the city ground. Drink it in and enjoy, then go again next week.

Our away form is very good right now. Let's hope we can finally do it at villa park.

Agree, thought the team’s response was spot on.
As fans enjoy the moment. We have a great chance but nobody thinks we’re home and dry.

Not sure there was too much celebration in the ground by the players. Normal, but the crowd was a bit louder.

We made a very good Villa look ordinary

Sorry for coming across all Roy Keaney this morning after a good performance but I just think their players and fans watching our fans dancing in the street will do nothing but spur them on. Villa will undoubtedly score a goal at home. In my mind they're still favourites to go through, although we've given ourselves a shot now.

I would imagine their players won't give a shiny shit what some of our scrote fans post on Twitter.

If they do then they need to take a look at themselves.

Villa fans would have been doing the same Pap.

It's what football fans do.

I think they’ll have plenty of motivation anyway?

To me they are still favourites to win the tie.

One thing that stood out last night was how weak our bench was compared to theirs in terms of experience and perceived quality.

There’s quite a bit of work to do on that aspect in the Summer if we want to finish outside the bottom five.

A lot of that is down to injury and not being able to select Netz/Taiwo too though. If we ever get back in Europe we definitely need to do better on using those 4 academy spots.

Probably not overly realistic but if we could somehow get Cash back, the Neco/Cash pairing at fullback would be pretty dreamy.

Definitely, though we were missing Savona, CHO, Sangare, Murillo, Jair Cunha and Ndoye. That's a lot to take out of any squad.

Plus Awoniyi and Netz not being eligible for the Europa League squad. That's eight players who'd be in with a chance of the matchday squad normally.

I think both teams and both sets of fans were probably happy with the result.

The second game is set up perfectly and I would give us a 50/50 chance of going through.
