Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-04-2026 It's back to Europa League action next for the Tricky Trees. It's a Europa League semi final (yes you read that right do not adjust your screens) against Aston Villa. The match will be played on Thursday 30th May 2026. At the world famous City Ground in Nottingham. Kick off is at 20:00. COYR! RE: Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - Paplane - 26-04-2026 D 1-1 Again. This will be a true test of our new 2 striker formation with Villa now having had the opportunity to look at it and work out how to overcome it. I actually think we've got more of a chance of winning the second leg than the first, so a draw would set us up nicely for that. Im with you on that one, our best chance 2nd leg is like Midtjylland where they get complacent and think they have already won it. RE: Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-04-2026 I would gladly take a draw too. RE: Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - Username - 26-04-2026 Given the reduced rest time after the Chelsea team I’d prefer going strong and giving us a lead into the second leg. RE: Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - RyanR - 26-04-2026 Biggest Forest game of my lifetime possibly? (Depends if you think the Play Off final was bigger, which it could be for the consequences afterwards). I’m strangely calm about this one. We normally match Villa pretty well and the games are usually close. I’d be sticking with both strikers again RE: Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - Fumanchew - 26-04-2026 Does anyone else think with 4/5 days between Burnley and Sunderland and 4/5 days between Sunderland and Villa without any international travel to contend with for the second leg that our starters should have enough in the tank to start the next 3 games? I think with the continued stress of the seemingly never ending relegation battle, it feels like there is almost less pressure on this game, certainly from a fan perspective. I wonder if the players are feeling similarly. I think at the minimum, it doesn't feel like there would be a scenario where we'd be overcome with pressure given the constant pressure we've played under. Maybe that would be different if we reached the final though. |
