Not as flashy for sure but does the basics really well. Got that extra height too. Jair does look good, the main problem is that he is right footed and Milenkovic was covering on Murillo’s natural side which I think led to the c**k up for their goal. We’ll just have to work on it or dare I say it Morato could be a better fit, I was surprised he wasn’t the preferred sub actually.

Bakwa..... I think his time is done and going in the summer.

Even if it means we need to start Morato...

With all that’s going on in Anderson’s life at the moment it seems rather a weird day for sky sports to constantly run the story that he’s 99% Man City bound hopefully he stays off social media on match days

Would anyone swap Gibbs-White for Foden? Foden, Eze, Palmer, all good players but I wouldn’t swap him for any of them.

He's a worse finisher than those guys sure (recent improvement aside), he's a way better all round player though. Strong, super fit (which you can't say about any of those), great at heading, better at pressing, I don't imagine there will be many pundits not tipping him to go to the WC. You want to take the form players, not to mention his fitness edge over those guys in difficult conditions (although will have played a lot of minutes this season) There's a pretty strong argument for him to be starting over Rogers at this point, on current form!

The Palmer of last year was unbelievable at times, I seem to recall he turned us inside out. The club world cup has killed him off and there's a real argument he should be given this summer to recover. Foden has never managed the weight of an England shirt and shouldnt be afforded any more chances.

MGW unsurprisingly nominated for April Premier League Player of the Month.
