Since vitor started for us:
West Ham = 8 points
Wolves = 8 points
Us = 6 points
Leeds = 6 points
Burnley = 2 points
Spurs = 1 point
All we need to do is keep around equalling the same as those around us

That's not once what I've said.
If we win 3 games and get 42 points, I would imagine everyone would consider that good work. However if Spurs, Leeds and West Ham all win 4 games and overtake us then we would still go down.
So, quite obviously it matters what Spurs and West Ham do in their remaining games. (unless we just win all our remaining games)

Grinding out draws and the occasional win.
Unbeaten in 4 makes them the form team in the bottom 7.
I agree, performances are noticeably better. I think we are much more competitive and were unlucky to lose to Liverpool and draw with Fulham.
Lets just beat Burnley and things will hopefully look a bit rosier.

How many of the top teams will still have a manager too. Carrick probably keeping his job, will Chelsea spin on rosenior, lots of grumbles on whether pep moves on, do Liverpool twist on slot.
Glasner to go and Iraola. Does silva also leave

Frank would probably be a good fit for Bournemouth.

Bournemouth about to appoint Marco Rose
Someone who they have sounded out for a long time.
Who will be ready to take over in the close season
A manger whose tactics align with their current style of play.
Almost like there is a plan in place….
Get what I am hinting at?

But we weren’t planning on changing coach this season, in fact we had extended Nuno’s contract.
And we can hardly announce a new guy for next year now when the current one is trying to engender togetherness for a relegation battle and cup semi-final!

Its about having a long term ethos, something that seems alien to this club.
I get Nuno wasn’t planned but that doesn’t mean you lurch reactively to Ange to Dyche to Vitor all of who are polar opposites. Its not like its the first time we have acted in this way either.
Doesn’t mean it will work out for Bournemouth of course but at least they are giving themselves the best chance.

It’s a vicious circle, once you find yourself in it it’s hard to get out without a bit of luck, ie a good manager becomes available at the right time, see West Ham and Nuno.
We’ve appointed who was available at the time. Besides I think we have bigger issues than manager choices.
But I largely agree, whilst I don’t think we are poorly run by any margin, but sadly nor are we as well run as some other mid-size clubs in the prem.
make all the email jokes you like etc but none of the likes of Bournemouth/Fulham/Brentfird/Palace are getting relegated this season after a short stay are they?

There are two sides to that though.
I bet most fans of the clubs you mentionef would snap your hand off to have EM in charge.
They also haven't recently come from the very bottom of the Championship and being one breath from death (under Fawaz) like we have.
None of them have been to a Europa League semi final either.
