Think he's saying the players listed will play 90 minutes so McAtee and Bakwa could start but not see out the whole match.

Sky saying Anderson missed training today though whether he would've played tomorrow isn't clear anyway.

Win, lose or draw enjoy it tonight and don't take it for granted.
It's a European quarter final under the lights at the WFCG. Treasure it.

Absolutely. Maybe we become regulars at this but there is also good chance it doesn’t come around again in some of our lifetimes. I hope we go for it.

Not one fan use to moan about us playing 2 games a week in the championship, now were in the Premier league and europe we have to rest players. What a load of bollocks
The premier league pressure we're under has really tainted my enjoyment of this European campaign. Even tonight, a beautiful quarter-final game against Porto, and all the thoughts are about the weekend and shithole club Burnley.

Most fans have bemoaned the general experience in the Premier League, too expensive, too corporate, lose more than we win, etc. We’re in the Quarter Final of a European competition, for the first time since we play Bayern Munich some thirty years ago. Feck Burnley, that comes after, tonight is what it’s all about. If any thoughts are drifting to a game beyond tonight before it’s even been played then that should only be entertaining Istanbul on 20 May. We should be aiming to win this, sleep easy and Burnley can become tomorrow’s focus. Moreso, surely a defeat tonight will have a negative effect on our confidence going into Sunday? It’s not like the Europa has been a huge burden on the squad given how heavily it’s been rotated for these games (barring Fenerbache away). Let’s fecking do this.

You may consider it's all about tonight (and I agree in an ideal world it should be), but no way will the team that gets picked be the team that has the best chance of winning the tie. Our participation in the tournament has been hampered by our domestic affairs. I would love to be in the position Spurs were in last season when they were able to prioritise the Europa but he fact is, tonight's game will be considered a side show to the main business of the club. |
