Midtjylland - Nottingham Forest
Watched it on catchup. Stella first half. Well done to all. Can't understand why people were saying Lucca was decent..... thought he was gash.
Great all round performance 'cept one

Bit harsh on Lucca mate. He had a perfectly adequate game. He wasn't brilliant, but he certainly wasnt gash. And he stayed on for 120mins, leaving Jesus totally fresh for Spurs.

What Lucca was good at was hold up play, getting the ball with his long legs....and some decent passes and flicks.

7 out of 10.

6/10. He stuck with it and didn’t hide. Some pretty horrible touches, the one where Hutchinson played him in was memorable but some good things too. He is our only other option in Europe so hope he has some confidence.

Praise also needed for Vitor who got the B team playing well...........that comes from building the players confidence and allowing them to play football.

Still buzzing after that. We’ve had plenty good games this season Brentford Liverpool Tottenham Ferecvaros, Feherbahce and we’ve followed them up with a series of absolute stinkers.

What feels a bit different is it’s the first time the whole squad has turned up and delivered. Far too early to call it a turning point, just need to take the feeling into Sunday.

It was an improvement for sure even there manager specifically called Lucca out and said not many side could deal with a player like him.

Milo with the assist for Dominguez.

I didn't think we would do it but we did and I do like 3 at the back. I wonder if we can do that in the premiership? Maybe with a proper preseason to work on it maybe it's the way forward for us.

Really impressed with McAtee last night. I hope he’s given the chance to start more if Morgan does end up leaving in the Summer. Bakwa had his best performance for us so far and Lucca did a job. We’ll need contributions from everyone if we’re going to stay up and progress in Europe

McAtee is a class act and I have been saying it for weeks.

Some one said the other day when we were debating him that he was a little boy or an adult in a little boys body or something like that.

Well, you don't rip up a physical league like The Championship playing for a physical team like Sheffield United if you are a little boy.

Bakwa was good too just like Cunha before his injury.

Can we stop writing players off as being shit after only being at the club 5 minutes.

Tbf I don't think anyone else wrote off Cunha aside from Dyche!

There's a nuance here, they are potentially good players but Mcatee and Bakwa have still contributed next to nothing under 3/4 managers this season.

Last night was great to see though, Bakwa being able to take a corner makes him an interesting start option for the rest of the season as wingback.

Can Mcatee and MGW play together in our current 3421? Must be tempting to try it although maybe we need Hutchinson's running (not his end product though). Good problems to have for a change!
