So what now? We keep getting told this is a squad of very good technical footballers that have been forced to play one dimensional football and actively disliking it. Is there a way no matter who the manager maybe that they remember some of the skill they have?
Yes this is my fear. How long until our spoiled little darlings decide they don’t want to play for the next bloke either?

I don't think this season augurs well for future recruitment. Players are going to think seriously before joining us, no matter what wages we might be throwing at them.

New interview with Chris Wood where he talks about his injury and it sounds like he expects to be back before the end of the season.

Players who haven’t performed at last seasons level at all.
Sels
Milenkovic
Aina
CHO
Yates
Dominguez
Players who have looked good but it’s starting to deteriorate, whether its fatigue or manger changes
Neco
Murillo
Anderson
New this season and done their best
Jesus - works hard, isnt a finisher
Hutchinson - flatters to deceive. Questionable off the ball
The rest haven’t contributed really
That leaves Sangare and MGW trying to carry the team.
We desperately miss Wood and to an extent Elanga. We badly miss Nuno’s organisation and team spirit.

Agree with all of that barring Omari, if he’s done his best this year then that’s concerning to be honest.

To my mind if Omari was signed early door when release clause was active it would made sense to me. Carsley used him to get the U21s up the pitch quickly but his end result wasn't always the best. I think if he came in early Nuno would have been happy, had him for Portugal etc which was important to him if dismissed by some fans and potentially hierarchy.
I understand McAtee as the second choice of Elliot did indeed reject us.
The wingers however, Ndoye and the French Mighten make no sense to me.

I'm starting to believe that Jesus is a midfielder not a striker (bit like JoeLinton). Surely worth getting him and Taiwo on the pitch together.

I was thinking the exact same thing on Sunday.
More AMC/SS/F9 than CF.

The Midtjylland performance was good and very encouraging to see improved performances from the fringe like McAtee and Bakwa. Caveat that it’s only fair to bear in mind the competition was not Premier League standard. However I do think the formation helped. Four what I call creatives - Hutch, McAtee, Bakwa and Ndoye, and we seemed to have more manpower up top supporting attacks. Will be interesting if we can take that set-up into the Premier league. It’s certainly more aggressive than a 4-2-3-1 with only 3 creatives, where I often feel we don’t have enough numbers in attack, and especially if one of the 3 is taken out for Dominguez. Bakwa as a wing back for Spurs would make me nervous though, there’s a higher propensity for losing possession with those more flair players. Interesting to see the approach, but we can’t play a back 3 with Morata in if Cunha is out surely! Spurs have too much up top for that.

That’s how Nuno played him pre-season behind CW. Don’t think we scored many goals then either ?. (Yes ai know he will be better adapted now)

He deserves a start tomorrow. He isn’t the greatest finisher in the world but he does get into the box and causes a threat. I think we would score more goals if he played ahead of Anderson. Not sure we need Anderson and Sangare playing at the same time. They are both excellent in deep positions but do not provide much threat in the final third and I think Sangare has marginally better defensive qualities. A key player for me would be Cunha. If he is fit he can bring the ball forward and a good distributor like Murillo. Having them two would lessen the need for a deep lying playmaker which is the role Anderson tends to fill.
